We all complain often – actually all the time that we don’t have anugraham of iswaran. In our case, we couldn’t ask the question to Periyava – but this paati asked that question and that Parabrahmam speaks – listen..
After listening we should realize that we all are blessed and have anugraham of Periyava to even mention His name, think about Him and talk about Him. All we need to do is to ensure that our mind does not steer away from Him.

This is a true narration of what is Saranagathi. We have read and heard about surrender. But putting into practice requires total destruction of ego and thought that gives rise to doubts and questions. Here we can see Jayam Patti demonstrates unconditional surrender and the result was grace of periavaa flowing continuously.

jaya mami is a great one. she always used to do arti to periava for viswaroopa darsanam and used to be very strict that none of us should disturb periava particularly when periava goes to kottagai in the early morning!!!! She has been there before the adhistanam always. Her daughter in law Lalitha is still doing bikshavandanam regularly./ such great bhakthi and great souls are the ones bring at least this rain in our country. of course she is too old to remember now but still the incidents are great one. i remember the periava’s kataksham of making us visit pandarinatha in pandarpur (we used to go have darshan of periava and come back without even visiting the temple!)when jayamami narrates the incident at Tirupathi. I have been very ignorant of not knowing anything to ask anything in those days and i weep on that now. periava was offered all facilities at Hubli in the bungalow of mr. gurushankar and He never accepted and we had erected a small thatched shed near about for keeping water for visitors and periava chose only that place. oh, how great, i have been alone with him just seeing him and doing nothing.
