லோகத்தில் இத்தனை ஜீவராசிகள், பசு, பக்ஷிகள், தாவர வர்க்கங்கள் இருக்கிறோமே, இதில் ஒன்றுக்கொன்று வாழ்வுக்கு அவசியமானவைகளைப் பரஸ்பரம் கொடுத்துக் கொண்டுதான் ஜீவிக்கிறோம். இதிலே மநுஷ்யர்களான நாம், நம் போன்ற ஸஹ மநஷ்யர்களிடமிருந்தும், மிருகங்கள், பக்ஷிகள், தாவரங்கள், இன்னும் inanimate என்கிற ஜடவஸ்துக்களிடமிருந்துங்கூட எத்தனையோ உதவி பெறுவதால்தான் ஜீவ யாத்திரையை நடத்திக் கொள்ள முடிகிறது. இதனால்தான் ஜடம் என்று நினைக்கிற பூமி, ஜலம், அக்னி இவற்றுக்குக்கூட நாம் செய்கிற பிரதியாக வைதிக மதத்தில் பலவிதமான சடங்குகள் இருக்கின்றன. – ஜகத்குரு ஸ்ரீசந்திரசேகரேந்திர சரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகளின் அருள்மொழிகள்

There are so many different kinds of living beings in this world like plants and animals. All are interdependent and that is how living is possible. Human beings like us receive so much of help not only from our fellow human beings, plants and animals but also from inanimate things to lead our lives. Jaya Jaya Sankara Hara Hara Sankara,

While many of us (including me) take several things in life for granted, there are so many jeevans in this world that are running around for a morsel of food everyday morning.  As we see in the pictures below, several voiceless are standing near garbage can to see if they can get some food.

Let’s consider sparing a little bit of our earnings so we can relieve their hunger. Also, let’s ensure any food wastage in our homes goes to satisfy the hunger of these jeevans and not to trash cans.

For those who are unable to do this kainkaryam personally, please participate by contributing whatever you can. I do this personally every day so will ensure your contribution go towards this specific cause. As I  had mentioned before, for as little as Rs. 10 one can satisfy the hunger of a dog.
