எழுத்தையும் பேச்சையும் பிரதானமாகக் கொண்டு வாழ்ந்து வருகிற அடியேன், ‘ஸ்ரீ மீடியா ஒர்க்ஸ்’ என்கிற நிறுவனத்தின் சொந்தக்காரனாகவும் இருக்கிறேன்.
அடியேன் பல இதழ்களில் எழுதிய – எழுதி வரும் ஆன்மிகக் கட்டுரைகளைத் தொகுத்து புத்தகங்களாக ‘ஸ்ரீ மீடியா ஒர்க்ஸ்’ நிறுவனம் மூலம் வெளியிட்டு வருகிறேன்.
(நட்பு அடிப்படையில் நண்பர்கள் ஒரு சிலருக்கு சிறப்பு வெளியீடுகளையும் ‘ஸ்ரீ மீடியா ஒர்க்ஸ்’ நிறுவனத்தின் மூலம் தயாரித்துக் கொடுத்துள்ளேன். தற்போது பல சிரமங்கள் கருதி ஏற்றுக் கொள்வதில்லை.)
‘ஸ்ரீ மீடியா ஒர்க்ஸ்’ மூலம் அடியேன் எழுதி வெளியிட்ட முதல் நூல்: ‘மகா பெரியவா – தொகுதி 1’.
இதைத் தொடர்ந்து மகா பெரியவா மகிமைகளைப் பற்றி அடுத்தடுத்து நூல்கள் வெளியாகி உள்ளன.
சமீபத்தில் வெளியான ‘மகா பெரியவா – தொகுதி 8’ நூல், ஸ்ரீ மீடியா ஒர்க்ஸ் நிறுவனத்தின் 25-வது படைப்பு என்பதை சந்தோஷத்தோடும் பெருமையோடும் சொல்லிக் கொள்கிறேன். எல்லாம் குருநாதரான மகா பெரியவா அருள் இன்றி வேறில்லை.
காகித விலை, அச்சு மை விலை, ஜி.எஸ்.டி. – இவை எல்லாம் பயமுறுத்தினாலும், விடாமல் புத்தகங்களை வெளியிட்டு வருகிறேன். காரணம், எனது வாழ்க்கை பத்திரிகையில்தான் துவங்கியது.
இந்தப் புத்தகங்களை வாங்கி, பலருக்கும் பரிசளிப்பதன் மூலம்தான் என்னைப் போன்ற புத்தக ஆசிரியர்களும், பதிப்பாளர்களும் பலன் பெற முடியும்.
தங்கள் குடும்பத்தில் நடக்கின்ற விழாக்கள், திருமணம் – சஷ்டியப்த பூர்த்தி – சதாபிஷேகம் – கிரஹப் பிரவேசம், நவராத்திரி போன்ற விழாக்களுக்கு அடியேனுடைய புத்தகங்களை மொத்தமாக வாங்கிப் பலருக்கும் பரிசளிக்கலாம்.
ஒரே தலைப்பில் குறைந்தபட்சம் 25 புத்தகங்கள் வாங்கினால், தள்ளுபடி தரலாம். அதைவிடக் குறைந்த எண்ணிக்கையிலான புத்தகங்களுக்குத் தள்ளுபடி தர இயலாது. காரணம் – இன்றைய புத்தகத் தயாரிப்புக்கு ஆகும் கூடுதல் செலவினங்கள்தான்!
சிறு நிறுவனங்கள் மற்றும் கார்ப்பரேட் நிறுவனங்கள் தங்கள் ஊழியர்களுக்கும், வாடிக்கையாளர்களுக்கும் தீபாவளி, புத்தாண்டு என்று சிறப்பு தினங்களை ஒட்டி அடியேனுடைய புத்தகங்களைப் பரிசளிக்கலாம்.

Maha Periyava literature is soaked in Bhakthi and Advaitha. Information provided as to what and where it is available need not be objected to. We had in the past several books on Maha Periyava, His Disciples and His holy Padhukas being brought to Devotees’ attention in the blog. This is really not commercial though it helps the author’s livelihood. Maha Periyava ThiruvadigaLe CharaNam! Hara Hara Shankara, Jaya Jaya Shankara!

I understand your sorrow of using this blog as a marketing tool for one’s personal publications even though they were about Maha Periva and other divine subjects. Let me put my thoughts on that and your comment also.
Firstly, it is Sri Mahesh to decide what to be published here and we as visitors no way to control him, however, we can express our lamentations, nothing more than that. Again, Sri Mahesh is smart enough to understand that the ‘Blog’ is not misused by any such activities which are benefitting one single individual monetarily. If I am not wrong, he would have thought that Sri PS who wrote many books on Maha Periva should reach to more people. This blog may be a platform for such potential buyers. There is no any other hidden agenda in this, I strongly believe.
Secondly, Sri PS is neither expecting a ‘Dhaanam’ here nor any ‘Dhakshana’. He was just disclosing his published books’ list, period. Whether one wants to buy or reject is one’s own interest. No need for any outcry. Your point could have been expressed in simple two lines with a comment of using the blog only for Maha Periva. Had that been done, that could have been taken as just your personal opinion. Anyway, Sri Mahesh was a bit of confusion of your lengthy comment, hope he would have got the point now.

To start with my sincere APOLOGIES for raising an issue that could hurt the feelings of people. i am not writing this targeting only one person PS whom i rever and consider my guru , satha koti times GREAT when compared to me being torn by materialistic world’s centrifugal / centripetal forces). I listen to his lectures in TV and get emotional dividends BUT to raise awareness. i am sorry to see this blog becoming a marketing medium, in the guise of spreading Periyava Mahimai, in spite of use of terms such as ADIYEN. Sikshavalli classifies whatever we receive from others in to Dhaanam and Dakshina. The latter is a fee received for service rendered (equivalent to salary). A priest may collect Rs.100 or Rs.10,000 for performing the same act. But there is no right and wrong as long as priest doesn’t demand. The dhaana is ALMs (charity) received without rendering any service. Whereas all of us had to give dhaanam in certain occasions (pancha dhaanam, dasa dhaanam, go dhaanam, vidya dhaanam, bhoo dhaanam, swarna dhaanam, anna dhaanam etc) , there are stringent conditions for accepting dhaanam. A common site in Marina beach on eclipse day – for every 100 persons ready to give swarna dhaanam, there would hardly be 1 to receive them. For giving VIDHYA, no fees were prescribed but made guru dakshina by students as compulsory. If I a attend a lecture and pay whatever i can, that is guru dakshina – is different from i have to pay a specific amount for attending a lecture. Affixing a price is commoditization. Hindus have made GOD a transactional commodity long before others advented it. Offer coconut if a material goody is received. Sanaathana dharma can survive only when people practice the dharma (code of life, way of life, values in living) This blog – a few days ago wrote about those who could only sing but steal the works of saint musician Thiagaraja swami and substitute the word RAMA with Yesu or jesus and make money out of it. If we think carefully, there would not have been an outcry, if these musicians (who sell music for money) composed songs themselves and sold it – just as film guys do. But stealing the work of great saints – who took no money for what all they had left behind for progeny is a sin. MY brother was in the team of vedha rakshina nidhi trust. MAHA PERIYA had clearly instructed not to collect a huge sum from one to declare target achieved but collect small sums from as many people as possible. That made many people like me (i know at least 100 in my circle) to do whatever adhyayanam we were capable of doing.
