I had been looking for a Periyava vigraham for nitya/frequent abishekam. While I have a big/heavy vigraham, doing nitya abishekam is difficult. Normally, the facial feature doesn’t come out good in small vigrahams. This vigraham being small in size facial features of Periyava have come out so beautiful. I was told that Orikkai manimandapam trust made these vigrahams sometime back and they apparently made a shivalingam out of all those vigrahams (I am dying to see if there are any photos from that event!). A friend of mine happened to have two vigrahams and I got this one. I don’t have any idea if these vigraham is still available for public or not. I will appreciate if someone could check with Orikkai folks and comment here for others to benefit.

This was given to me after abisegam and maharudram done in pradosha Periyava temple .
When I got it , it was same like yours and after 2 yrs of nitya abishegam periyava looks so Tejas
