                                                         வலிய ஆட்கொள்ளும் தயாளர்

பிரம்ம வஸ்துவாய் எங்கும் வியாபித்தருளும் சாட்சாத் சர்வேஸ்வரரே உலகோர் கண்ணுக்கெல்லாம் விருந்தளிக்கும் காருண்யத்தோடு நம்மிடையே, சுகப்பிரம்மரிஷி அவர்களின் அபார மேன்மையோடு திகழும் கருணாமூர்த்தியாம் ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளெனும் திரு உருவோடு அருள் பாலிக்கிறார்.

இந்தப் பேரருள் வலியவே சென்று பாமரர்களையும் ஆட்கொண்டருளிய சம்பவங்கள் பல உண்டு.

துப்புரவு தொழில் செய்பவள் அஞ்சலை மிகவும் வறுமை வாட்டியது. இரண்டு செல்வங்கள். 1984ம் வருடம் நடமாடும் தெய்வம் பாரதமெங்கும் தன் புனித பாதம் படும்படியாக புண்ணிய அலைகளை பரப்பிவிட்டுத் திரும்பும் வழியில் இந்த மாது இருக்கும் கிராமத்திற்கு விஜயம் செய்தருளினார்.

பாமரபக்தைக்குப் பரமேஸ்வரரின் திரு அவதாரமான மகானைப் பற்றியோ தெரிந்து கொள்ளும்  குடும்ப சூழல் இல்லாதிருந்தது.  தன் கிராமத்திற்கு விஜயம் செய்திருக்கும் ஒரு சாமியார் என்ற ரீதியில் போய் சும்மா பார்த்துவிட்டு வரலாமென்று முகாமிட்டிருந்த இடத்திற்கு வந்தாள்.

கூடவே தன் இரு பாலகர்களையும் கூட்டிச் சென்றிருந்தாள். வலிய ஆட்கொண்ட தெய்வம் அப்போது பக்தர்கள் அதிகமாக சூழ்ந்திராமல் தரிசனம் சிரமம் இல்லாமல் கிடைக்கக் கூடிய அமைப்போடு காத்திருந்தது.

அஞ்சலையை பக்தை என்றும் குறிப்பிட முடியாத அந்த நிலையில் ஏதோ பார்வையாளராய் வந்தவள் ஸ்ரீ மகானை பார்த்துவிட்டு குழந்தைகளோடு நகர எத்தனித்தாள்.

“பேர் என்ன கேளு” என்று இவளை ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ பெரியவா கேட்டறிய முற்பட்டார்.

“அஞ்சலைங்க…” என்று தாங்கள் துப்புரவு தொழில் செய்வதாகவும் தனக்கு இரு பிள்ளைகளென்றும் ஒப்பிப்பதுப் போல் சொல்லிவிட்டு இடத்தை விட்டு அகலும் நிலையில் அஞ்சலையின் மனோநிலை இருந்தது.

“அவளைக் கூப்பிடு” என்று சென்றவளை வலிய தெய்வம் இழுத்தது.

திரும்பி சென்று நின்றவளிடம் “உன் பேரு அஞ்சலைன்னு சொன்னயே! நீ எதுக்கும் பயப்படமாட்டாயோ?” என்று அன்பும் குறும்பும் கலந்த காருண்ய வினா எழுந்தது.

அஞ்சலை மகானின் தீட்சண்ய பார்வையால் ஆட்கொள்ளப்பட்டு அப்போதே பரம பக்தையின் நிலைக்குள் புகலானாள்.

வலிய ஆட்கொண்ட பக்தையிடம் திரும்பவும் தன் திருவிளையாட்டாக இன்னொரு கேள்வியை ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா கேட்க பக்தைக்கு வறுமையின் வேதனையிலும் சிரிப்புதான் வந்தது.

“உன் இரண்டாவது பையன் டில்லிலேயா வேலை பார்கறதா சொன்னே?” என்று விநோதமாக பெரியவா கேட்க அந்த இரண்டாவது பையன் அஞ்சலையின் பக்கத்தில் தலைப்பை விடாமல் பிடித்தபடி கிழிந்த நிக்கரும், அழுக்கான சட்டையும், மூக்கில் ஒழுகலுமாக பாலகனாய் காட்சி தந்து கொண்டிருந்தான்.

அஞ்சலை பதில் சொல்லத் தோன்றாமல் நிற்க, ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா அதை எதிர்பார்க்காதவராய் காண்பித்து பூர்ண அனுக்ரஹம் பொழிந்து அனுப்பினார்.

அன்றைய தினத்திலிருந்து அஞ்சலை ஸ்ரீ மகானை மனத்தில் இருத்திக் கொள்ளும் பாக்யம் பெற்றாள். மகான் இப்படி தன் இரண்டாவது பிள்ளையைப்பற்றி அர்த்தமில்லாமல் கேட்டதையோ அதன் உட்பொருள் இன்னதாய் இருக்குமோ என்ற சிந்தனையோ துளியும் எண்ணிப்பாராத மனோபாவத்தோடு அந்த பாமர பக்தைக்கு ‘ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா பக்தி’ எனும் அருள் மட்டுமே பெரியதாய் அமைந்தது.

தினமும் குளித்து முடித்து தன் சிறு குடிசைக்கு வெளியே வந்து ஆகாயத்திற்கு கற்பூரம் காட்டுவாள். மகா புனிதரான ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவாளின் திரு உருவப் படம் தன் வீட்டில் வைத்துக் கொள்வதற்கு கூட அருகதை தனக்கில்லை என்ற தாழ்வுநோக்கில் உயர்ந்த சிந்தையோடு பக்தை மற்ற எந்த பக்தருக்கும் தோன்றாத எண்ணமாய் எங்கும் வியாபித்தருளும் மகானை ஆகாயத்தில் ஆரத்தி காட்டி ஆராதிக்கும் மனப்பக்குவத்தில் இருந்தாள்.

‘எதற்கும் அஞ்சமாட்டாயோ’ என்ற சக்தி வாய்ந்த கேள்வியோடு, ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ பெரியவா எந்த துன்பம் வந்த போதிலும் அஞ்சாத நெஞ்சம் அருளிவிட்டார் போலும். வாழ்க்கையில் படிப்படியாக வந்த சிரமங்களை பயமில்லாமல் எதிர்கொண்ட அஞ்சலை சுமார் இருபத்தைந்து வருடத்திற்கு பிறகு 2008 இல் திரும்பவும் அந்த ஊருக்கு ரத யாத்திரையில் ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மகானின் திரு உற்சவ மூர்த்தி வந்தடைந்த போது பேரானந்தமுற்றாள்.

“பெரியவர் நம்மை விட்டுப் போகவே இல்லே. அப்படி நினைக்கறவங்க அந்த தெய்வத்தைப் பத்திப் புரியாதவங்க. இந்த ரதத்தில் மெய்யாலுமே அவரு வந்திருக்காருன்னு தான் நிச்சயமா சொல்வேன்” என்று ரத யாத்திரையோடு சென்றவர்களிடம் தன் அசஞ்சல பக்தியை அஞ்சலை சொன்னாள்.

அவள் பக்கத்தில் ஒரு இளைஞன் வயது இருபத்தேழாய் இருக்கலாம். அவன் கையில் ஒரு குழந்தை. ஒரு வயதாகி முடியிறக்க கிராமத்திற்கு வந்துள்ளான்.

அந்த குழந்தை அஞ்சலையின் பேரன். அதாவது அஞ்சலையின் இரண்டாவது மகனின் பிள்ளை.

“டில்லியில் மினிஸ்டிரி அஃப் ஹ்யுமன் ரிசோர்ஸஸ் அன்ட் டெவலப்மெண்ட்லே ஆபீஸராய் இருக்கேன். என் பையனுக்கு முடியிறக்க குலதெய்வம் கோயிலுக்கு கிளம்பிட்டிருக்கோம்….” என்று ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ பெரியவா அன்று குறிப்பிட்ட இரண்டாவது பையனான அவன் சொல்லி நின்றான்.

துப்புறவு தொழில் குடும்பத்திலிருந்து டில்லி சென்று பெரிய உத்யோக அந்தஸ்து அடைய அப்போதே அருளப்பட்டவன், குலதெய்வமா பெரியவாளே ரதத்தில் வந்துட்டாரே என்று திரிகால ஞானியை பரிபூரணமாய் உணர்ந்து கொண்ட பாக்யசாலியாய் அஞ்சலை கைகூப்பி கண்ணீர் பெருக்க, அங்கே எல்லோரும் மெய் சிலிர்கின்றனர்.

வழிகாட்டிய பெரும் வள்ளல்!

அந்த ரதயாத்திரையில் இன்னொரு எளிய பக்தர் கூறிய சம்பவம் ஆட்கொண்டருளும் மகாபெரியவா கருணையை எடுத்தியம்புகிறது.

அந்த ஏழைக்கும் வறுமையின் வாட்டல் சொல்லமுடியாத அளவில் மிகுந்திருந்தது. அதே 1984 இல் அப்போது ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹாபெரியவா திருமங்கலகுடி கிராமத்திற்கு அனுக்கிரஹ விஜயம் செய்தபோது இந்த ஏழை அங்கே அந்த முகாமிற்குச் செல்வதுண்டு.

இந்த பாமரனுக்கும் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா இன்னார் என்பதோ அவர்தம் மேன்மை அறிந்து அவர்மேல் பக்தி கொள்ளும் மனோநிலையோ இல்லை. ஆனால் வீட்டில் தினம் சாப்பாட்டிற்கே வழியில்லாததால் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா அருளும் இடத்தில் அன்னதானம் நடைபெறுவதால் அதற்காக மட்டுமே அங்கு செல்வார். அவருடைய வயறு நிறைந்ததேயன்றி வறுமை நிறைந்தேயிருந்தது.

ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா கிராமத்தை விட்டு அகன்றதும் அந்த மதிய வேளை சாப்பாட்டிற்கும் திண்டாட்டம் தான். நான்கைந்து நபர்கள் கூடிய குடும்பத்தை காப்பாற்ற வழி தெரியாமல், பணச் சிக்கல், கடன் என்று நாலா புறமும் பிரச்சனைகள் சூழ்ந்து மிரட்டியதில் அவருக்கு தன்னைத்தானே மாய்த்துக் கொள்வதைத் தவிர வேறு எந்த வழியும் புலப்படவில்லை.

இப்படி ஒரு முடிவெடுத்தவர்  அதற்கு முன் ஒரு காரியம் செய்துவிடலாம் என்று தோன்றியவராய் எல்லோரும் சிறப்பாகக் கொண்டாடுகிறார்களே அந்த காஞ்சி முனிவரைப் போய் ஒருமுறை பார்த்துவிட்டு பின்னால் உயிரைப் போக்கிக் கொண்டால் என்ன என்று எண்ணம் வரப்பெற்றார்.

இவரும் அஞ்சலையைப் போல பெரிய நம்பிக்கையோடு வராமல் எதற்கும் பெரியவரைப் பார்த்துவிட்டுத் திரும்பி வந்து தன் வாழ்க்கை முடிவைத் தேடிக் கொள்ளலாமென்ற தீர்மானத்துடன் தான் காஞ்சி வந்தடைந்தார்.

ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் எதிரே ஒன்றும் சொல்லாமல் நின்றார்.

ஸ்ரீ பெரியவா இவரை கருணை நிறைவோடு நோக்கினார். நடந்தது, நடப்பது, நடக்கப்போவது என்று மூவுலக நிகழ்வுகளையும் தெர்ந்த மகா ஞானியாம் பெரியவா “உன் அடுத்த புரோகிராம் என்ன?” என்ற வகையான ஒரு கேள்வி கேட்டார்.

வாழ்க்கையின் ஒரத்தில் ஒட்டிக் கொண்டிருந்த எளியவன் என்ன பதில் சொல்லமுடியும்? தான் உயிரை மாய்த்துகொள்வதாய்த் திட்டமிட்டதையா மகானிடம் தெரிவிப்பார்?

“ என்ன செய்யறதுன்னு தெரியலையே சாமி எங்க ஊருக்குத் தான் போகணும்” என்றார். அதில் ஒரு ஆறுதல் கிட்டாதா என்ற ஏக்கம் தொனித்தது.

“நான் உனக்கு பஸ்சார்ஜ் தர்றேன். இப்படியே உன் ஊருக்குப் போகாதே…. நேரே இங்கிருந்து மெட்ராஸ் போய் பாரீஸ்லே இறங்கி அங்கேயிருந்து மறுபடியும் பஸ் பிடிச்சு உன் ஊருக்குப் போ” என்று ஒரு புரிந்து கொள்ள முடியாத கட்டளையாக சொல்லி அனுப்பினார்.

மடத்திலிருந்து அவர் சென்னை சென்று அங்கிருந்து திரும்பவும் அவர் ஊருக்குச் செல்ல பஸ் செலவுக்காக மட்டும் பணம் கொடுத்தனுப்பச் சொன்னார்.

காஞ்சியிலிருந்து மேற்கே வேலூர் பக்கமிருக்கும் தன் கிராமத்திற்கு நேரே போகச் சொல்லாமல் கிழக்கேயிருக்கும் சென்னைக்கு ஏன் இந்த சாமியார் போகச் சொல்கிறார் என்று புரியாதவராய், உயிரையே போக்கிக் கொள்ளும் மனநிலைக்குத் தள்ளப்பட்டிருப்பவர் மகானின் கட்டளைப்படி அப்படியே செய்யக் கிளம்பினார்.

சென்னையில் பாரிஸ் கார்னரில் இறங்கி தன் ஊர் பஸ்ஸைத் தேடிச் சென்றார். அங்கே தெய்வ தூதராய் ஒருவர் வந்தார். இவருடைய நண்பர்! இவரை வெகுநாட்களுக்குப் பின் இங்கே பார்த்ததில் அக மகிழ்ந்தவராய் இவரை இழுத்துக் கொண்டு ஒரு ஹோட்டலுக்குச் சென்று டிபன் வாங்கிக் கொடுத்தார். அகோரப் பசியில் இருந்தவருக்கு வயறு நிறைந்தது. மகானின் கருணை எண்ணியபடி, நண்பர் குடும்பத்தைப் பற்றிக் கேட்டதும் அழுகை பீறிட அந்த நண்பரிடம் தன் அவலத்தை எல்லாம் கொட்டித்தீர்த்தார்.

ஸ்ரீ பரமேஸ்வரரே தன் அபார காருண்யத்தால் அனுப்பிய நண்பரல்லவா? இவருக்கு ஆறுதலாய்ப் பேசி தைரியம் தந்து எல்லா கடனையும் அடைத்து குடும்பத்தை தற்காலிகமாக கவனித்துக் கொள்ளவும் பணம் தருவதாக உறுதி கூறி அப்படியே செய்தும் இவரைக் காப்பாற்றினார்.

அவலநிலையிலிருந்து விடுபட்டவர் உத்யோகம் கிடைக்கப்பெற்று இருபத்தைந்து ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பின் பெண் கல்யாணத்தையும் விமர்சையாக செய்து ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ மஹாபெரியவா ரத யாத்திரையாக சிலா ரூபத்தில் தரிசனம் தர வந்த போது தன் நன்றிப் பெருக்கைக் கண்ணீராகக் கொட்டி இந்த சம்பவத்தைக் கூறினார்.

இப்பேற்பட்ட வலிய அருள் தரும் தெய்வத்திடம் நாம் கொள்ளும் பக்தி நமக்கு சகல சௌபாக்யங்களையும் அருளிக் காப்பாற்றுமென்பது சத்தியமல்லவா……

—  கருணை தொடர்ந்து பெருகும்.

                                                                    ஒரு துளி தெய்வாமிருதம்

பரோபகாரம் என்பது மூன்றாம் மனிதர் யாருக்கோ செய்வதற்கு முன்னால் நம்முடைய ஏழைப்பட்ட உறவினர்களுக்கு உதவி செய்யலாம்.

முதலில் ஏழையான பந்துக்களை கவனிக்க வேண்டும். சுபகாரியங்கள் அபர காரியங்களுக்கு நாம் செலவழித்துக் கொண்டு நேரில் போக வேண்டும் என்பது கூட இல்லை.  இந்த செலவையும் சேர்த்து அந்த வசதி இல்லாத உறவுக்காரர்களுக்கு அனுப்பி வைத்தால் எத்தனையோ உதவியாக இருக்கும்.

                        THE  GREATNESS  OF  SRI  SRI  SRI   MAHAPERIAVA.  (31—07—2009).

SAksAt  SarvEswarar  Himself,   who  is  omnipresent  as  ParaBruhmam,   and    is  showering  ‘Anugraham’   on  the  humanity,  is  blessing  us   in  the  humble  ‘AvatAr’  of  Sri  Sri  MahAperiavA’,  containing    within  Him,   the  greatness  of  Sage  SukaBrahmam.

There  are  many  incidents  where  this  great  compassion  has  voluntarily  gone  and  blessed  the  poor  people.

Anjalai    works  as  a  cleaning  lady  for  her  daily  bread.    Poverty  has  been  persecuting  her  endlessly.  She  has  two  children.  In  the  year  1984,  the  ‘Walking  God’  had  travelled  the  length  and  breadth  of  BhArath    sanctifying  the  land,  and  on  His  return  was  passing  through  the  village  where  Anjalai  was  living.

Her  family  environment  was  such  that  she  had  never  known  or  realized  the  greatness of  the  MahAn.  She  came  to  the  place  where  Sri  Periava  had  His  camp,  just  with  the  idea  of  seeing  the  ‘SAmiyAr’  (sage) who  had  come  down  to  her  village.

She  had  taken  her  two  sons  also  along  with  her.  There  was  not  much  crowd   at  that  time   with   Periava,  so  that  she  could  have  His  Dharsan  without  any  difficulty.

As  she  could  not  be  called    a  ‘devotee’     of  Sri  Periava,  she  just  came  there  as  a  visitor,  saw  Him  and  was  about  to  leave  the  place  with  her  children.

Sri  Sri  Sri  PeriavA  asked  His  attendant, “  Ask    her,  her  name!”

She  told  Him  that  her  name  was  Anjalai,   was   working  as  a  cleaning  lady,  and  had  two  sons  and  started  to  leave  the  place  again.

“Call  her”—-said  the  ‘walking’  God.

He  asked  her  when  she  came  back  and  stood  before  Him,  “ Your  name  is  Anjalai.  Then,  You  are  not  afraid  of  anything ?” (In  Tamil  language  “Anjuthal”  means  ‘afraid  of’;  Therefore  Anjalai  means  ‘not  afraid  of’).

Anjalai  was  overwhelmed  by  the  MahAn’s  look  of  compassion  and  was  slowly  becoming  devoted  to  Him.

Sri  PeriavA  asked  her  again,  “Did  you  say  that  your  second  son  was  working  in  Delhi?”.   She  could  only  laugh   in  spite  of  her  pathetic  state, poverty   staring  at  her  life.  Her  second  son  was  standing  by  her  side,  holding  her  sari,  wearing  a  torn  half  trouser and  a  dirty  shirt,  and  a  running  nose.  Anjalai  was  just  standing  there,  not  knowing  what  to  answer,  but  Sri  PeriavA  did  not  bother  about  it  and  blessed  her.

From  that  day  onwards,  Anjalai  had  the  ‘BAgyam’  of  always  thinking  of  Sri  MahAn.  Without  bothering  about  His  strange   question  about  her  second  son,  and  not  trying  to  find  any  inner  meaning  for  that,  devotion  to  periavA  was  the  foremost  thing  in  her  mind.

She  would  finish  her  bath  and  come  out  of  her  hut  daily  and  perform  ‘HArathi’  towards  the  sky.  Though  she  thought  she  was  not  qualified  to  possess  even  a  photo  image  of  The  MhAn  in  her  house,  she  had  the  noble  thought  of  His  omnipresence,  and  so  performed  ‘HArathi’  towards  the  sky,  certain  that  He  is  everywhere,  which  no  one  else  had  thought  of.

Sri  Sri  Sri  PeriavA  seemed  to  have  blessed  her  with  a  strong  mind  to  face  any  problem  she  met  with  in  her  life,    by   His  question, ‘You  are  not  afraid  of  anything?’.

Anjalai  faced  all  her  problems  without  any  fear  whatsoever  and  after  twenty  five  years,  when  the  idol  of  Sri  PeriavA  came  to  her  village   in  a  procession,  was  she  happy !  Anjalai  was  telling  others  who  were  accompanying  the  ‘Rat  YAtrA’,  “Periavar  has  not  left  us.  Only  those  who   have  not  understood  Him  will  say  that  way(  that  He  has  left  us).  I  am  very  certain  that  He  has  come  here  now  in  that  ‘RatA’.”

There  was  a  young  man  of  about  twenty  seven,    by  her  side  carrying  a   one—year  old  child.  He  had  come  to  his  village  for  offering  the  child’s  hair  to  the  village  deity.  The  young  man   was  Anjalai’s  second  son  and  the  child,  her  grandson.

“I  am  working  as  an  officer  in  the  ministry  of  human  resources  and  development  in  Delhi.  We  are  just  leaving  for  the  temple  of   our  family   deity  to  offer  my  son’s  hair  to  her.”—The  second  son  of  Anjalai,  whom  Sri  PeriavA  had  talked  about  (twenty  five  years  ago)  was  telling  others.

He  was  blessed  on  that  day  itself  to  go  and  work  in  Delhi.  Everyone  there  were   thrilled.  Anjalai  just  stood  there,  with  folded  hands,  tears  running  down  her  cheeks,  having  fully  realized  the  omniscient  Sri  PeriavA,  who  had  Himself   come  there  now  as  her  family  deity.

THE  PHILONTHROPIST  WHO  SHOWED  THE  WAY.

Another  incident  narrated  by  a  devotee  during  that  ‘Rata  YAtrA’  says  a  lot  about    Sri  MahAPeriavA’s  compassion.

Poverty  has  put  him  also  into  untold  miseries.  In  the  same  year  1984,  when  Sri  Sri  Sri  MahAPeriavA  was  camping  in  the  village  Thirumankalakkudi,  this  poor  man  used  to  go  to  the  camp.  He  was  ignorant  of  who  Sri  PeriavA  was,  nor  was  he  aware of  the  MahAn’s  greatness;  therefore  he  did  not  develop  any  real  devotion  towards  Him.  But  as  he  was  not even  having  one  meal  a  day,  he  went  to  the  camp  just  for  filling  his  stomach.  Though  his  stomach  got  filled,  there  was  no  abatement  of  his  poverty.

When   PeriavA  moves  out  of  the  camp,   then  he  will  be  deprived  of  even  that  one  meal  in  the  noon.  Being  unable  to  maintain  the  family  with  about  five  members,   and  constantly  troubled  by  debts, lack  of  income,  he  found  no  other  solution  to  all  these  except  committing  suicide.

Having  taken  this  decision,  he  decided  to  go  and  have  the  Dharsan  of  the  sage  of  Kanchi,  whom  everyone  is  eulogizing,  before  ending  his  life.

Like  Anjalai,  he  also  reached  Kanchi  not  with  any  hope  but  purely  with  the  idea  of  ‘just’  seeing  PeriavA,  and  then  return  to  end  his  life.

He  just  stood  before  Sri  PeriavA,  without  saying  anything.

Sri  PeriavA  looked  at  him  with  His  natural  compassion.  Sri  PeriavA,  who  was  a  ‘Sarvagnar’ (one  who  knows  the  past,  present  and  future),  put  a  question   to  him,  “What  is  your  next  programme?”

What  could  a  poor  man  who  was  just  standing  at  the  brink   of  life,  answer ?  Could  he  tell  Him  of  his  decision  to  end  his  life?

“I  do  not  know  what  to  do  Sami!  I  have  to  return  to  my  place  only”.  There  was  a  hint  of  longing  in  his  tone  if  he  would  not  get  some  solace.

“I  will  give  you  the  bus  charge.  Do  not  directly  go  to  your  place.  Go  straight  to  Madras (Chennai)  from  here,  get  down  at  Parrys(corner),  and    take  a  bus  from  there  to  your  village.”—PeriavA  instructed  him.

He  also  told  His  attendants  to  give  him  bus  charge  from  there  to  Madras  and  from  Madras  to  his  village.

Not  understanding  why  this  ‘SAmiyAr’  was  asking  him  to  go  towards  east   to  Madras  and  then  from  there  to  his  village,  instead  of  directly  to  the  village  near  VEloor(Vellore),  which  was  in  the  west,  he  obeyed  His  order.

He  got  down  at  the  Parrys  corner  in  Chennai  and  walked    in  search  of     the  bus  which  would  take  him  to  his  village.   There  came  a  person  as  if  he  was  a  messenger  from  God.  He  was  his  friend!   He  was  so   happy  at  seeing  him  after  a  very  long  time;  he  took  him  to  a  hotel  for  a  sumptuous  tiffin.   He  was  very  hungry  and  ate  the  food  happily.  When  the  friend  enquired  after  his  family,  he  just  could  not  control  himself  and  poured  out  all  his  woes  and  sobbed.

Was  he  not  the  friend  whom  Sri  ParamEswaran  Himself  had  sent?  He  consoled  him  profusely.  He  agreed  to  clear  all  his  debts  and  gave  him  money  and  promised  to  look  after  him  and  his  family.

Having  come  out  of  an  utterly  pathetic   stage  of  his  life  and  having  got  a  job  also,  he  conducted  his  daughter’s  marriage  after  twenty  five  years.  When  Sri  Sri  Sri  MahAPeriavA  came  here  now  in  ‘ShilA  RoopA’ (in  the  form of  idol),  he  poured  out  this  incident,  shedding  tears  of  gratitude.

The  devotion  we  place  on  such  a  compassionate  God,  who  voluntarily  blesses  us,  will  protect  us  and  grant   us  all  prosperity.

Compassion  will  continue  to  flow…….

Benevolence  is  helping  our  own  relatives  who  are  in  difficulty,  before  helping  some  unknown  persons.

First  we  should  look  after  our  relatives  who  are  in  poverty.  We  do  not  have  to  attend  any  auspicious  functions  or  condolences    in  their  homes;  instead,  it  will  be  very  helpful  to  those  people  if  we  send  them  some   money  including  our  travel  expenses.
