I will cite something else to show that Truth is included in Aacharam. If a person is imprisoned after having been punished by the law of the land, he becomes a sinner. A rule of Aacharam states that unless he expiates this sin through Prayaschitta (an expiatory act prescribed by the sastras), he becomes a social outcast. When the country was ruled virtuously per, when the rules of the scriptures prevailed, this was what happened.
