கல்லூரி வளாகத்தில் நடை பெற்ற விழாவில் ஸ்ரீ ஜெயேந்திரசரஸ்வதி சுவாமிகளின், ஸ்ரீ விஜயேந்திர சரஸ்வதி சுவாமிகளின் பங்கேற்றனர். அவர்களுக்கு கல்லூரி சார்பில் பூரணகும்ப மரியாதை அளிக்கப் பட்டது. தொடர்ந்து, வேத கோஷங் கள் முழங்க, ஸ்ரீ ஜெயேந்திரசரஸ்வதி சுவாமிகளக்கு மலர் கிரீடம் வைத்து மரியாதை செலுத்தப்பட்டது.
பின்னர் ஸ்ரீ ஜெயேந்திர சரஸ்வதி சுவாமிகளின் பேசும் போது, ‘‘நிறைய நல்லது செய்ய வேண்டும். உண்மையை பேச வேண்டும். திருடக்கூடாது. ராமனைப் போல நல்வழியில் நடந்து, நல்லதை செய்து, நல்ல பலனை அடைய வேண்டும். கிருஷ்ணனைப் போல நல்ல காரியங்கள் செய்து, நல்லவனாக வாழ்ந்துகாட்ட வேண்டும். நல்ல செயல்கள்தான் வாழ்க்கைக்கு உதவும். அவ்வாறு நடந்து மற்றவர்களுக்கு எடுத்துக்காட்டாக இருக்க வேண்டும்’’ என்றார்.

Attributing things to the Age of Darkness may have meaning for Perivas, for He may have access in the current moment simultaneously to all the 4 ages and the different planets. For common people, since the age of darkness is going to last for another 4 lakh – odd years, such attribution may NOT even provide the necessary solace.
While addressing people with respect is good and may even be necessary, with Perivas being our Gurus, there is also the need for closeness, since there is need to assimilate their spiritual energy for our own spiritual growth and for delivering ourselves and others from the evils of the group-mind.
In that sense, through a perverted mud-slinging by the group-mind on Periva, His Name has come closer to the tongue of the common man. Like for example, we do address, “Hey, Ram!!!” and not necessarily “Jai Sri Ram”…This is also an investment in human consciousness by Periva. A time may come when His Name will be common place among all Hindus…

Please pardon me if I hurt anybody’s feelings, but how can anyone force papers like ‘the Hindu’ to use the terms Maha Periyava, Periyava and Bala Periyava? These are lovingly used by thousands of Devotees who know what they are doing and whom they are respecting! ‘The Hindu’ has moved far away from the days of its inception with ideals, freedom struggle support and all and is today out and out commercial and supporting whoever is in power. These are parts of Kali Kaalam and have to be ignored. They have published a nice photo, a news item relevent to Sri Periyava and a para on His Upadesam. That is good and is to be appreciated. For a few years now, ‘the Hindu’ has dispensed with prefixes like Sri, Mr., Mrs., Ms., Dr. etc. If Dr. Bhadrinath said something, it is reported as Bhadrinath said…! Smt. Vijaya has still addressed as Shri. N. Ram! That is Bharathiya culture from time immemorial! Let us ignore the unsavoury aspects and concentrate on the main aim of the blog, what Maha Periyava did and said to make our salvation a reality! Hara Hara Shankara, Jaya Jaya Shankara!
There are 7 nether regions of awareness, atala, vitala, etc. Only when those involved in those regions pay the price of right deeds or repentance and Lord Ganesa lifts their awareness above into the root memory chakra, these can realize the folly of their misdeeds…Jai Swami Sri Jayendra Saraswathi !!!

“The Hindu” did not even put Sri. I manually added Sri before their names…I verified if I missed any and found good…Did i miss out somewhere? .I did not have the time to retype the whole content….

I cannot read Tamil and so I do not know what this article mentions but from the comments I have understood that there has been utter lack of respect for Sri Periyavaa,
A few years ago when Sri Jayendra Sarasvati was falsely incriminated the BBC called him as Mister.
Would they do that to the Pope or even a plain X-tian priest?
They are given the title of ‘father’ though I do not understand as to why he is called by the appellation of ‘father’ when he is supposed to be strictly celibate and cannot be a father !
The problem is that the West and Western media control our English media of TV, newspapers etc.They have been completely bought over.
Till now many people in Bharat do not know that the case against Sri Jayendra Sarasvati has been quashed as there was no proof of his involvement and he was completely innocent and falsely implicated.
The TV and other news media ‘hounded’ him for over 9 years and hardly took a few minutes to ‘talk about his acquittal’.
The chief problem is that people like us do not react to such gross injustices and biased news reporting.
We just do not bother.
We have to create groups that will voice such injustices and ‘fight the good fight.’
We have to react.
