today i had been to kanchipuram madam with my family. In mahaperiava adhishtanam what a decoration for periava and we had
a darshan of sri sri jayendra saraswathi swamigal and bala periava. after that i had been to sri sri pradhoshamama residence to have a darshan
of periava, there for the last 10 days vedaparayanam is going. what a fantastic darshan there also. In madam also lot of vedavidwans chanting
parayanams. we should have bakthi like pradoshamama family. jaya jaya sankara hara hara sankara. periava thiruvadi saranam.
Firstly aneha kodi namaskarams to sri.karthikeyan for this wonderful news for which we have been longing for. That would be our only treasure which we can pass on to our generations ..
Secondly, our family had been to Sankara Arts and Science College, Enathur to attend 2 days Children Cultural camp conducted by Viprayuva.
It was immensely useful for children and as well as to elders who accompanied them. Many Sanskrit scholars gave invaluable advise to those who attended the camp which will keep everyone in good stead .
Yesterday, as part of the camp we had a visit to the Mutt as Mr.Subramaniam said ‘it was just a paradise .. prayed at the Mahaperiya Adhishtanam to hearts content and had darshan of Peiyava and Bala Periyava. It was a sight to watch and hear veda gosham .. the experience was heavenly ..
on top of it .. i happened to pass an elderly sastrigal and was drawn towards him .. he enquired whether I had food and asked me to sit by his side .. it all started as a brief conversation and lasted for hours .. he said he is ‘Vedapuri’ who has had the privilege of being with Mahaperiyava from age of 5 and spent his days with him till Periyava attained samadhi. It was a great personal experience to meet him and hear about Karunyamurthy Mahaperiyava.
He is now under the care of his daughter who runs a music school in Thirumullaivayil. Hope to meet him again and will update .. Jaya Jaya Sankara Hara Hara Sankara!
