I am Vivek Sarabeswaran and I am from Chennai.
I had the darshan of Swami Shantananda Puri last week when he visited Chennai and I had expressed my desire to share the audio of his talk and chanting of this rare Shiva Sahasranama by Swami Shantananda Puri. Swamiji was very happy and readily gave his consent to share this audio.
Please bear with the slightly poor audio quality as it was taken on a cassette recorder in Ramanasramam sometime in 2005.

Even though i was seeing the words, my mind wasn’t reading Swamiji’s name properly. I am unable to recall what was I reading then. Perhaps the entry to ” Vashishta Guha ” was not on then.
Now I am going thru the scribd site suggested by another devotee.

Pranams. I thank you for the link. It is in Hindi. I am very poor in the knowledge of Hindi. However, since the content is so important I can use it in a later date.
Therein I found the Swamiji’s name is given differently from that of this blog. A bit confusing. Besides, the opening sentence of the addressed Maha Periyavaa in unusual way (shall I say hurting way).
I was looking for the Tamil version for the ease of fully appreciating the meaning.
I did find find in the net, English and devanagari version, if your are keen. No meanings were given though,

I can imagine how people who read such Saintly Gyanis miracles wd react in 50 yrs from Now..Mahaperiyava has not only lived like Adi Sankara,but is instrumental in establishing such Saints!worth reading again n again.
