I want to let you all know about a change in plan for the Akshaya Thrithi Kainkaryam (SPK #52). Please see HERE for the original post.

Based on Sri Periyava Aagnai we planned to build a Vinayagar temple in Thandalam village. However after seeing the blog post one of the devotees went to Hyderabad and seeked HH blessings to build the entire Vinayagar temple with his own resources. Sri Periyava gave him the go ahead and asked us to build a Ambal temple in the next village (Palavakkam) where conversion activities are even more worse (I had mentioned about building this temple in my prior post). This village has around 100 families and around 40 have been converted. Sri Periyava has asked to build Ambal temple which means both the Vinayar and Ambal temple will begin at the same time and the construction will be completed in 3 months. Great isn’t it? The budget for this temple is slightly high (around 3 lakhs more) since we have to build a Maha Mandapam as well. Sri Periyava has asked the Bhoomi Puja to be done this Thursday (June 09) so the construction work can begin immediately. Please see the quotation and blue print below.
