Mar’ 22-Sri Periyava Kainkaryam: Annadhana Seva Update – Around 1200 meals served

Even the word “Paropakaram” which means Philanthropy is a wrong word when viewed from a certain perspective. Para means others and Upakaram means service.  Even if   a person’s   service is not of any use to the others, it cleanses his own mind. Hence it must be called not Paropakaram, but Swaya Upakaram or service to one’s own self. – Jagadguru Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Swamigal
