Jaya Jaya Sankara Hara Hara Sankara – Due to overwhelming demand for beef during Pongal and Maattu Pongal time we had to intensify our cow rescue efforts last month and saved 178 of them. All non yielding and old cows/calves. One significant effort being rescuing 36 calves (Kannukutti) on Jan 2 (video clip below).
Out of the 178, there are three small goats and one Ashva regarding which I posted couple of weeks back. Now that we have a full fledged Gosala to take care that takes care of several aged, injured and orphan calves we are constrained for resources and time. By Periyava’s grace and with all your support pushing ourselves and rescuing as many as we can every month. Please continue to support and spread the word around and help join as many as you can.
