Shri Gurubhyo Namaha!

I am sure the whole world is probably busy with Mahaperiyava’s 23rd aradhana celebrations everywhere. Along with all of you, I am absolutely delighted to be part of this satsang where Periyava bakthi and smaranai is the primary focus. Let us pray Mahaperiyava to give us the vairaghyam to follow His teachings to whatever extent possible. If we take one step towards Him, He comes running towards you. Wish you all a very happy aradhana day! Let us pray for everyone!

I received a phone call from a devotee from Bangalore couple of days back. A Telugu speaking devotee – used to be a staunch Shirdi Baba devotee, who had not much of idea about Mahaperiyava got completely transformed into a devotee who now knows nothing other than Him. Came in his dream – not alone but with other two Periyavas also gave this devotee His Holy padhukas and blessed this devotee. When he talked to me I quoted him how Periyava showed Ghatam Sri Subash mama that He is none other Kamakshi. Last year we read about a devotee who wanted to anusham in Seattle and how Periyava made everything possible to make it a success. We have Advocate Venkatasubramaniam whose bakthi is known to all of us and we see in front of our eyes how Periyava has been making him do things that are beyond anyone’s comprehension in Kathiramangalam. Cupertino Smt Vidya’s bakthi pravachanam and how Periyava interacts with her regularly etc are some of the devotees whom I know whose bakthi is so pure and I am sure there are thousands of devotees whose bakthi is as pure as these folks as well. All these are examples of Periyava’s grace and blessings. All we want to ask Periyava is His smaranai till we have our last breath. If we are blessed with this, then our moksham is guaranteed!

Celebrating His anusham, jayanthi and aradhana are only for us – He doesn’t need anything – He never needed anything. Vignesh Kumar always says that when we do all these celebrations in a grand way with full of bakthi, Periyva will see the real love of the devotees and bless them. All the show without the bakthi is never going to please Him.

We all, part of this blog believes in honesty, simplicity, sincerity and divinity. If we are able to achieve these attributes, Periyava’s blessings will definitely be with us.

I thank Sri Ganapathi Subramanian for sharing a small audio clip, in his fine unique easy to understand delivery style, about a devotee’s experience with Periyava. This devotee who is being referred in this clip eventually got transferred out of his job very soon after this incident – all His karunai. He did not want this devotee to continue on the same path.
