Thanks to Smt Shyamala for this information….
On the same day Feb 13 in 1907, Sri Mahaperiyava took sanyasa to become 68th peetadhipathi of the great Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam…
Let us do namaskaram to the Sage of Kanchi in this auspicious day.
Hara Hara Sankara Jaya Jaya Sankara!

Thanks for the link. However a few questions please:
The article says 1911-1915.Is there any write for the period 1907-1911 since Sri Mahaperiyava took sanyasa in 1907.
When did Sri Mahaperiyava become the 68th Peetadhipathi which is done by a separate ceremony for pattabhishekam
Are there are references to how the trikala puja was being performed during the period 1907 to 1915?
Thanks in advance.
Until Periyava became major, Sri Karyam agent (Manager of the Matam) was holding all the responsibilities of the matam. During this time, Periyva was doing all puja etc without any break. I think we should not spend too much of time in these analysis after knowing vey well that Periyava would not have done anything that is violating Hils role even for a second.

Dear Sir, Yes, the link provided by Sri Chandru is correct. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10106013826565239&set=p.10106013826565239&type=1&l=6f34316672&theater The person who was the guardian at that time (1911-1915), Sri C.H. Venkataramana Iyer from Colinjivadi is my great grandfather and I’ve heard this sequence of events from my parents and uncles.
On a related note, if anybody has a photo of Sri C.H. Venkataramana Iyer, we’d be very grateful if they could share it.
Jaya Jaya Sankara!
Can anyone clarify why it was 8 years before Sri Mahaperiyava could become Peetaadhipathi even after taking sanyasrama in 1907?
Because technically this could mean there was no Jagadguru as Acharya of the Peetham for 8 years. Also the trikala puja would have to be performed daily only by an Acharya as we have understood.
Can someone kindly clarify or give a reference to some source where this important clarification can be obtained?
THanks
Sri Guruvayurappan is a very devoted and knowledgeable sishya of Sri Matam, I have heard. So his clarifications will indeed be authentic. But the seeming gap of 8 years without a Jagadguru of the Peetham is really puzzling !
Please see the reference in the link : https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10106013826565239&l=6f34316672
Actually, Feb 13th of 1907 is the date of sanyasa sweekaram of Sri Mahaperiyaval. He ascended the holy Peetham on the Sankara Jayanthi day of May 1915. Thanks to Shri Guruvayurappan for clarifying with relevant references
Thanks Chandru for the correction…. >
