This is Shri BN mama’s latest pen sketch! He did this based on a photo taken in the year1964 at the ‘Agama, Veda, Silpa Sastra’ Sadhas held in Kanchipuram. The then Maharaja of Mysore is seen delivering the inaugural address and Periava is keenly listening! As Suresh P said, we are completely blown away by this sketch! Yes, He is there! Sri Maha Periyava keenly observed the difference in the prepared speech and delivered speech of the Maharaja Of Mysore. He also gave Sri Ra. Ganapathi a precis writing. Sri Goenka and Ramaratnam were to print and distribute immediately. The author had an uphill task and he spent night and day to carry out the job given by Sri Maha Periyava. The Maharaja of Mysore, Jayachamaraja Wodayar is great devotee of Sri mahaa Periyavaa. He himself was a scholar and a connoisseur of arts, music etc. HH Sri Mahaa Periyaa’s blessings were with the Maharaja. He remains standing before the Saint eagerly listening to Him. Great sketch by Narayan Bala.
