I wish I have seen those days when people are sick/having medical emergencies, they ran to Periyava instead of a hospital or a doctor!!! On top of that all were cured by Vaideeswaran!! This is bakthi and faith!

சம்பவம்-ஒன்று
ஒரு பெண் குழந்தை.ஐந்து வயது இருக்கும். அந்த குழந்தை 25 பைசா காசு வைத்திருந்தது. சிறிது நேரத்தில் பைசா காணவில்லை. எல்லா இடமும் தேடியும் கிடைக்கவில்லை. அந்த குழந்தை வாயில் முழுங்கி விட்டது என்று எல்லோரும் அழுதார்கள். என்ன செய்வது என்று தெரியவில்லை.
ஸ்ரீ மகா பெரியவா சிரித்துக் கொண்டார். பின் அவர்களிடம் இந்த பெண் குழந்தையை வேறு இடத்திற்கு கூட்டிச் சென்று எல்லா உடைகளையும் உதறி பாருங்கள் என்று அந்த குழந்தையின் அம்மாவிடம் சொன்னார்.
அதன்படியே செய்ததில் குழந்தையின் பாவாடை வழியாக குழந்தையின் இடுப்பில் அந்தக் காசு ஒட்டிக் கொண்டு இருந்தது தெரிய வந்தது.
சம்பவம்-இரண்டு
ஒரு லம்பாடி கூட்டம். அதில் ஒரு மாது மிகவும் குண்டாக இருந்தார். ஒரு நான்கு பேர் அவளைத் தூக்கிக் கொண்டு வந்து ஸ்ரீ மகா பெரியவாளிடம் இவளை பாம்பு கடித்து விட்டது என்றனர்.
ஸ்ரீ மகா பெரியவா,”நீ பாம்பை பார்த்தாயா?” என்றார்.
இல்லை. பாம்புதான் கடித்தது என்றனர்.
‘சரி கொஞ்சம் சர்க்கரை,அரப்பு,தேன் கொண்டு வா” என்றார். சர்க்கரையை அவள் வாயில் போடு” என்றார்.
‘எப்படி இருக்கு’ என்றார். ‘தித்திப்பாக இருக்கு என்றாள்.
‘அரப்பை (சீயக்காய் பொடி) போடு என்றார்.
‘இப்ப எப்படி இருக்கு’ என்றார். அந்த மாது கசக்கிறது என்றாள்.
“சரி போ பாம்பு கடியில்லை” என்றார்.
“பாம்பு கடி என்றால் அரப்பும் தித்திக்கும்” என்றார்.

I had gone to Semangalam Gramam near Mayiladuthurai to attend a Sashtiabdpoorthy function. I was staying in a fairly good hotel by name Akshardam. The day before the function I visited the Vaitheeswaran Koil and all I could see from a distance was the floral decoration and not the actual deity. I am very happy to see the wonderful Picture of Sree Vaitheeswaran Swamy!

I am surprised, spell bound and doubly blessed to see Sri Vaidhyanathar picture appearing on my screen through this article, as I just returned (today) from the polgrimage to Sri. Vaitheeswaran koil, after wonderful darshan of our Kula Devataha (after participating Uchi Kala Pooja of yesterday), a ritual we religiously follow once an year…

Incident One
A girl child – around 5 years old. She was holding a 25 paisa coin in her hand. But that was suddenly missing. Even after looking for it in all places, it couldn’t be found. Everybody was very concerned that the child might have swallowed it. Nobody knew what to do.
MahaPeriyava laughed to Himself. HE instructed the mother to take the child to a corner, and look closely for the coin in all her clothes
HIS instructions were carried out and it was discovered that the coin was stuck on the waist. It must have slid inside her ‘Paavadai’ and lodged there.
Incident Two
A group of ‘Lambaadis’. In that group, one lady was extremely fat. Four people carried her to Periyava and told Him that a snake had bitten her.
Periyava asked, “Did you see the snake?”
The response – ‘No, but we know that it was a snake’
“Ok, bring some sugar, ‘Arappu’ (Shiyakkai powder) and honey”, Periyava ordered.
“Put the sugar in her mouth”
“How does it taste?”, He asked.
She said it tasted sweet.
“Put the Arappu in her mouth”
“How does it taste now ?”
She said, it tasted bitter.
“Allright then, you can go. It was not a snake bite”, He said.
“If it was really a snake bite, even the Arappu would be sweet”, He said

While camping at starpress at secunderabad I ran to periava and appealed to him about dog bite to my son and he gave vibuthi and asked to apply in the place of bite and when I said its leg and that doctors wanted me to get the medicine from Switzerland he launngly said I only asked you to go and apply vibuthi at the place of bite and not asked kakaa thalayaa. Readers will know the result by now next day he walked a few miles to his central school a few miles away. Periava iss also a great orthopaedic surgeon. When my son had a fall from height and was admitted in Nair hospital Bombay I went from ssecunderabad to this great surgeon at satara when they were battling with the boy to get the best Ortho a d neurological surgeon. Our surgeon prayed for a while andd asked me the place. I told hm c4 and 5. He touched the place in his body?and asked me here. I told him perhaps. He laughed and said go the boy is ok!!!!shankaraaaa I miss. Your presence though you are in me
