This reminds me of once Incident.
One devotee of Sri Kanchi Maha Swamy who is suffering from Insomnia when she approached Sri Kanchi ParamaCharya for a cure, even with out telling his holiness about her problem, HH has given her a fruit and asked her to keep the fruit under her pillow and sleep that night.
The very night the devotee had very good sleep and next morning when she got up , she realized the fruit she kept under her pillow is completely spoiled and foul smelling. She took the same fruit to Sri Kanchi Maha Swamy and he smiled and asked her to throw away that fruit and gave her his blessings with prasadam.
