It brings a great happiness and satisfaction that one of my longest dreams has come true. This one, in particular has been my dream for the past 5+ years. We have 1000s of photos of periyava – how good it would be if they all are sorted in an order starting from His jananam till mukthi?! For those who haven’t seen Periyava and wants to know how He looked in 60s, 70s etc, such an album would tremendously help. Even for elders, if they want to recollect how Periyava looked when they had their darshan, this would be a great avenue for all that….
Periyava had made this done through http://www.periyava.org team, who has done an extraordinary job of taking enormous time to put a border, caption and mentioning the year in almost 500 photos!!! Simply breathtaking to see these photos. They were so generous in sending me the entire album to be shared with our readers. My heart-felt thanks to them!
Please take a minute to appreciate the team who has done this outstanding job after enjoying the photos. Then only one can understand the effort that has gone behind this.

These pictures took us to those days as if we were along with Sri Maha Periyaval. To be viewed everyday slowly and attempt to attain his blessings through these collections.
Sri Maharaperiyava Saranam.
Sri Sankara Bhaktha Jana Sabha Trust, Chennai has put up a permanent exhibition of more than 500 rare photos of Sri Periyava, depicting His 100 year life span at the Mahaswami Dharsan Hall at Kanchipuram (opposite the Kanchi Kamakoti Mutt) and also there is a 100 feet high Keerti Stupi radiating the Holy Grace of Sri Periyava standing as a majectic monolithic structure.
The trust has put up all the photos in a treasure book titled “Divya Darshan of Sri Kanchi Mahaswami” in the year 2010 and the book (2 Volumes) was released by Sri Puthu Periyava at Vani Mahal in Chennai in 2010.
The book in Two Volumes, (with 2 editions in 2010) came with

c) biographical sketch of Sri Periyava
d) Sri Periyava Jadhagam
e) Sri Periyava Vysa Pooja Details
f) details of The Great Acharyas of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam

h) details of Sri Mahaswami’s Pada Yatra from Kanchipuram to Satara from 1978 to 1984 with Map
