Anyone can give me advice on the protocol for bringing the ganga water from Kasi to Rameswaram. What needs to be done when in Rameswaram?
In brief (details will vary based on your family tradition) : Start with Puja at your home of your family deity. Those who go to Kasi yatra should first visit Rameshwaram and take ritual bath in the holy theerthas, then worship the Lord Ramanathar. Take some sand from the Sethu shore and offer pooja to the Lingam fashioned from the sand; Take a portion of the sand and take it to Triveni (Prayagraj) to dissolve it, along with other pujas there. In Varanasi worship Kasi Vishwanadhar (and do ancestor rituals, also go to Gaya for a day and do ancestor rituals) and bring Ganga water (from Triveni) to perform abhishekam for Lord Ramanadhar in Rameshwaram which concludes the Kasi – Rameshwarm Yatra. Do samaradhanai at your house and distribute Kasi Prasadam to everyone who attend the Samaradhanai.
