I have never thought that a person should abandon the duties towards his own self and family and take to social service. I will never express an opinion like that. But, probably, I had not highlighted this point during my discourses. What a person does towards his and his family’s well-being is a natural thing. A stranger need not advise him on this. But the Aacharya Peetams (Seat of the Holy Teachers) exist only to promote the welfare of the society and to draw plans for the same.
