I am writing this with profound sadness that one Kanchi Matam devotees, Sri Sivakumar, Folsom, CA is no more. He was not even 50 if i am right – gone too soon. I still could not come to terms in accepting this.
Siva is one of the few, who is very simple, down to earth, very nice person. Soft spoken and liked to by almost all the people he interacted with. He is known to so many Periyava devotees in US and also in India. He came to Chicago few years back to visit his relative and made it a point to drive all the way to my place to get Periyava darshan here and meet me. He has been in touch with me and messaged me once in a while.
He participated in many many acharyas events in the west coast and at times he had travelled to other locations also for events like Maharudram etc.
