Rama Nama Likhitam Challenge for Kids in Chennai with Exciting Prizes

We all know the importance of Rama Nama and Sri Maha Periyava encouraging all of us to write by providing gold and silver coins.

Sri Maha Periyava has spoken very highly of Rama Nama, describing it as a simple but extraordinarily powerful means of attaining peace, happiness, protection, and ultimately spiritual liberation.

One of the most important note mentioned by HH on this subject is, “If we say Rama once, Hanuman comes there to listen. If Hanuman comes, Lord Shiva comes; Parvathi, Vinayaka, Murugan, Vishnu, Lakshmi, Brahma and Saraswati—all come. Then all the devas and rishis come.”

              🕉️ Rama Nama Likhitam Challenge for Kids in Chennai🕉️

In memoriam of our beloved Appa, Palasur S. Pattabiraman, we are conducting a unique Rama Nama Writing Challenge, for kids aged 9-15 to bring focus, discipline and divine blessings into your child’s daily life.

Writing the sacred name of Lord Rama—known as Likhita Japa—is an ancient, powerful practice. It is not just a test of dedication, but a moving meditation that calms the mind and purifies the heart. Whether you are seeking a moment of daily mindfulness or want to instill cultural values in your children, this challenge is for your kids!

📝 Challenge Guidelines & Rules

To ensure a fair and soulful experience for all kids, please follow these guidelines:

• Language: You may write “Rama,” or “Sri Rama,” in any language of your choice (Devanagari, English, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, etc.).
• Materials: Upon registration in the link in the flyer, we will contact you for the Nama books.
• Neatness & Devotion: While speed is natural, the focus should be on legibility, neatness, and a prayerful mindset. Avoid overwriting or scribbling.
• Submission: Physical submissions shall be dropped at the address shared upon registration.

🏆 Entries and Prizes

1. First 100 Entries only for registration (FCFS). Books will be distributed depending on Rama Nama count registered by the kid/for the kid. Registered kids alone can participate.
2. Participants in and around Chennai only; Strictly for Children (9-15 Yrs). 
3. Please choose the Rama Nama count that you plan to complete in this challenge – 5000/ 10000/ 50000/100000. Nama Books shall be provided for registered participants only and the number of books shall be decided based on the Nama count planned for completion.
4. Last date to register – 30 Oct 2026. 
5. First 30 completed entries shall receive prizes. Completed Nama Books shall be returned on or before 15 Feb 2027. Only returned books shall be considered for prizes.
6. Prize amount details below

• 5000 Rama count – Rs 500 worth prize (1st 10 completed and book returned entry)
• 10,000 Rama count – Rs 1000 worth prize (1st 10 completed and book returned entry)
• 50K Rama count – Rs 2000 worth prize (1st 5 completed and returned entry)
• 1 Lakh Rama count – Rs 4000 worth prize (1st 5 completed and returned entry)
