I have been seeing the following Sri Mukam notification on Sri Periyava giving sanyasa diksha to Brahmasri Ganesha Sharma Dravid on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya. All devotees are also celebrating this with an anticipation that he is going to be our 71st acharya. Some of my friends told me that this news is confirmed. If so, this is one of the happiest moments for all Kanchi Matam devotees.

why do you say “with an anticipation”? is he is not the next one then?

despite the sarda act, normally they select someone much younger; and not the eldest son or the only son in the family and also not worked earlier, but completely only into studies as ordained for a brahmachary.
had also seen some comment elsewhere questioning whether the boy is a tamilian or telugu since the boys mother in this same photo shared elsewhere, is not seen wearing the traditional saree like the madisar of tamils if tamilian or, the back, with at least some minor folds seen in the front like telugus like the one she was wearing at kanchipuram today, confirming that they are telugus with nativity in tamilnadu. didn’t know what to comment there, but, may be the boys mother wears their traditional saree only on important occasions.
Desigan garu, with due respect, what do you want to establish? Why you are so seriously doing analysis and research work on the mother of the boy who is to be a 71st pontiff of Sri Mutt?
desigan – why are you too quick in talking nonsense? You dont have to comment – nobody is compelled to comment some nonsense. Someone gave you a high pedestal to post these garbages. Only our community is quick in throwing mud at our own acharyas – these sins will haunt you and your family and generations. This is why every word that comes out of our mouth on acharyas should be measured.
had clearly written that it was a comment posted by someone who analysed all that elsewhere maybe some other math’s person or brahmin hater and one didn’t know what answer to give . and you had also mentioned “with an anticipation”
every news item had different information regarding his origin age and others. The math didn’t mention in the letter that the function was for the 71st acharya either.
for you not having to read what was written properly about the comment made by someone, and for also mentioning with an anticipation, the sin you mentioned will be yours only.
