It seems Periyava is travelling in planes a lot. Apart from the pollution it causes the simplicity example and nigraham that Periyavas used to set and was an inspiration and motivation for rest of us is vanishing.
I don’t know if this is disrespectful to say but would request others to point out how i can overcome this thought
Even during Mahaperiva time someone criticized him, that he is trying to earn fame through a female singer, when he wrote “Maitrim Bhajata” and sing in UN.
When we start criticizing, we miss to see the divinity. We must pray to make us see the divinity. Jaya Jaya Shankara!

Think a minute before you criticize such a high spiritual beings whether you are in a stage of doing so! What is your capacity and what HIS! Sir – It is even wrong to say I am criticizing Periyava. I was there during Kasi Vijaya yatra when Periyava indicated we should travel in train instead of plane. In Srimatam kanchi, there are many stickers reminding us frugality, savings., volunteering. So its trying to make oneself understand in our small mind that compares these with plane travel.

You need not to express your comment on such high spiritual beings when you are nothing before their sacrificial way life for the sake of entire world. We must address ourselves of what we preach to others and what we do. We are to follow Their prescribed way of life, not to scrutiny their way of life. Some times some actions look perplex, let’s not get in to any prejudice.
Hope my words won’t hurt you since my intent is to make you understand and perceive the matter correctly, not point out your mistakes. Forgive me if it hurts you.
