It is a great pleasure and privilege to be posting this important message and participating in one of the rarest yagams of our lifetimes that is starting off in the next couple of days. Based on my conversations with few learned people, this Maha yagnam is done by only around a handful (around 15) over the last 100 years which tells us how rare this yagam is.
When the Yaaga Kartha Dendukuri Brahmasri Sadasiva Ghanapathi Somayaji reached out to me few days back and explained about this Maha Yagam I was simply awestruck. Imagine a Maha Yagam happening for over a month with so many Vaideekas and Agnihothris purely for Loka Kshemam. Isn’t it our bounden duty to participate in little bit we can and make this Yagam a grand success? While it is important for us to contribute whatever we can, equally it is important to share this message across several groups so they are aware of this and also chime in. Let’s remember what Maha Periyava said, Veda Rakshanam and Gho Matha Samrakshanam are the two eyes for the welfare of this universe. If they start diminishing the world will start struggling as we see in recent times.
