I was saddened to hear early today that Sri Kamakshi Swamigal is no more with us. A vaideeka who spent enormous amount of time in Sri Matam and had several interactions with all our three acharyas, who blessed several thousands of his devotees and guided, helped and shaped their lives towards sanatana dharma. I know how he personally changed an atheist to a follower of Santayana dharma. He visited Chicago multiple times. The temple he built near Kanchipuram was his dream but also it indirectly helped avoid several conversions in that area.
I had an opportunity to spend time with him in two of his last trips to Chicago. I invited him to our house – he said “I need to set aside lot of time for your house as Mahaperiyava is there. I am in a rush in this trip and I will plan in my next trip” – now that is an unfinished event for us!
Our namaskaram to Sri Kamakshi Swamigal.

🙏🙏
We were blessed when swamigal visited our home in Singapore and spent a considerable amount of time. He did also made arrangements to send lots of fresh saffron flowers from kashmir to us in Singapore to perform Lalitha Sahasranama archana. He will always remain in our thoughts.
He was supposed to visit our house in February 2024, but just a few hours before the visit, he had to cancel due to feeling unwell.
Later, I learned that he had stopped making house visits altogether to focus on his health.
I held on to the hope that ours would be the first home he visited once he fully recovered. In my heart, I had marked February 2025 as the time for this event.
An unfinished chapter 🙏 Now, he has set out on another journey.
