With the blessings of H H Kanchi Periavas especially H H Balaperiava our next Maha Kumbhabhisekam of Sakya Nayanar temple is on 2nd June 2024. The temple is situated at Kanchipuram close to Kamakshi temple. The deity name is Sri Kamakshi Ambal Samedha Veerataneshwarer.

HH Sri Bala Periava was kind enough and agreed to perform Maha Kumbhabhisekam. This is the rare temple and have Chithra Prathishtai. This is the place where Sakya Nayanar attained Mukthi. He used to worship shivaperuman by throwing stone on Lord Shiva. Last stone was kept on the temple as a monument.
