Shri Maha Subhramanya Veda Vedanga Vidhya Peetham patasala of Hyderabad is one of the patasalas to whom we have been supporting for several years now. Sri Chandramouli of Shivarpanam Trust and Sri Halasyam Sundaram Iyer know this place for a long time. Sundaram sent me these messages to me yesterday. Both of them had told me that the adhyapakar in this patasala is very nice and educated vaideeka – very soft-spoken person. He has reached out to me in the past but language becomes a big barrier for us – he speaks only Telugu.
From the voice message (in Telugu) I could understand that he wants to fix this roof by setting up a proper structure and the total project might cost around 1.5 Lakhs. I have given the patasala bank details. Please support if you can. I can vouch for how well this place is run.

I have not had problems with regard to receipt in respect of your appeals.
My issue is non availability of payment through gpay etc. This will greatly helk.Creating a beneficiary for one time payment is an avoidable hassle. I am aware of trusts having this mode of payment. So can we have for this donation too?

I donated 5001/- towards matha Sri Bhuvaneswari temple construction. requesting them to acknowledge via email. But to this day I didn’t receive any reply. This is the case with many Hindu organisations where they don’t even bother to acknowledge payment. I wanted acknowledgment because I sent it via NetBanking. Now I stopped responding to any Hindu organisations seeking donations!
Dear Srinivasan – Sorry to hear that. I will speak to the organization who is receiving funds in India. From my standpoint, here (in US) when we receive funds via KGF, we send receipts promptly. For contributions made in India, I dont have visibility and we fully rely on them to take care of that. Having said that, this should not stop you supporting for noble causes – even if you dont support my appeals, you should continue to support for other genuine causes. I will take an action item to talk to Bhuvaneswari Amman project coordinator to expedite this.
