He has made big impact to millions of us by His outstanding lectures on various topics – I love all His tamil lectures. His last project was to renovate Sri Bhuvaneswari Amman peetam in Pudukottai – unfortunately, He left His sthula sareera before completing this project. This is a great opportunity for us to contribute in whatever small way possible to make that dream come true.

An Appeal & Invitation to Participate in the Construction of a Natural Stone Temple for 

Our Divine Mother Sri Bhuvaneswari Matha!! 

Who does not know the Compassionate Divine Mother Bhuvaneshwari Matha Of Pudukkottai in Tamil Nadu, India, ever showering Her Grace on Her Children??? 

Goddess Bhuvaneswari Matha was consecrated in 1962, in the vicinity of Athishtanam of a very great saint Sri Sadasive Brahmendra Saraswathi Avadhutha Maha Swamigal (popularly known as Sri Judge Swamigal) in Pudukottai, by late Swami Shanthananda Brahmendra Saraswathi Avadhutha Swamigal, then Peetathipathi of Judge Swamigal Athishtanam, after chanting “Hreem” Bija Mantra of Matha for over 5 Crore (5,00,00,000) times. 

Since then, Jagan Matha Bhuvaneswari has been unceasingly bestowing Her Grace on Her Children, expressing Her Universal Motherhood. 

When the famous Divine Child Swami Omkarananda, Founder of Theni Swami Chidbhavananda Ashram, took over as the Peetathipathi of Sri Bhuvaneswari Avadhootha Vidya Peetam at Pudukottai in the year 2015, he desired to demolish the famous Sri Bhuvaneswari Temple (built in cement in 1960s by Late Swami Shanthanandaji and maintained by Sri Bhuvaneswari Avadhootha Vidya Peetam at Pudukottai) and re-construct the same in natural stone, as stipulated in Agama Sastras, in a magnificent manner so as to attract the Devotees and spiritually inspire them, at an estimated cost of Rs.20 Crores. 

He prayed to Sri Bhuvaneswari Matha and obtained Her Consent and Blessings for re-construction in stone through Deiva Prasannam. 

As planned, the Archavathara Thirumenis (statues) of Sri Bhuvaneshwari Matha and other Gods and Goddesses were shifted to a newly constructed temporary RCC Mandapam and were consecrated there by Swami Omkarananda Maharaj on 10th February 2019 and are being worshipped there through regular poojas. 

As our ill luck would have it, when the construction works were going on in full swing, due to the untiring efforts of Divine Child Swami Omkarananda Maharaj, corona snatched him away from our midst on 10th May 2021. 

Approval of the Divine Mother for this project reflected itself in the fast and easy manner in which Rs.15 Crores poured in short time in response to the appeal of late Swami.Omkarananda Maharaj. 

As Swami Omkarananda had already mobilized Rs.15 Crores before attaining Maha Samadhi, we are in need of only Rs.5,00,00,000 (Rupees Five Crores only) to complete the construction, shift the idols and consecrate the Gods and Goddesses in Their new abodes, fulfilling the sankalpam of Swami Omkaranandaji. 

The unfinished task has been taken up the current peetathipathi Sri Pranavananda Brahmendra Saraswathi Avadhutha Swamiji, who is blessing us, guiding us and supporting us in our humble efforts. Thanks to Swami Pranavananda Maharaj’s blessings, we are moving in the right direction.
