On behalf of Brahmasri Chandrasekhara Bharathi Sastrigal I am pleased to share the invitation of Jayanthi program. Sri Bharathi was in W.Mambalam for a long time until recently when Sri Bala Periyava asked him to start a veda patasala. With jagadguru’s guidance, he started a patasala and a Ghosala.
As part of the celebration, he is doing Gana & varna-krama parayanam with 24 vaideekas. It would be absolutely a great environment to listen gana parayanam with 24 scholars! Devotees in and around this place should attend few sessions to enjoy this and support this event as well.

Patronising Vedic institution/ scholars/ students is definitely laudable!
But, why it is pivoted only for Krishna Yajur veda mostly!
In fact, veda rakshanam does necessarily mean near extinct veda sakhas! Only weaker child need more nourishment!
Learners& followers of KY is predominantly high in South and in fact we should focus and develop our other branches also which will be justifiable!
Can any scholars enlighten on this!
SY vedam is more only in North India. However, here in South India, there are many many patasalas that have both SY & KY also. There is no discrimination anywhere – it is purely based on the availability of teachers and students.
