Thanks to Professor for the share. Ilaythangudi is a punya kshetram. Our ummachi thatha has spent lot of time there and many important events w.r.t sanatana dharma happened during Periyava times. The acharya who lived there and attained siddhi is a jeevan-muktar and Periyava had talked very highly about His greatness. I have shared some of the photos I took during my visit several years back. The tree where Periyava was standing is still preserved.
