I have posted earlier about Aravind who has been doing digital coloring of old Periyava photos. He has been sharing a lot in FB and also posted few here but he is mostly active in FB. While I agree that b/w photos create a different emotion, colors bring vibrance. One thing that I dont know whether he chooses colors for vastram etc (blue color for Sri Balaperiyava and green color for Pudhu Periyava) or the tool automatically guesses.
