சிரமம் இல்லாமல் எந்தக் காரியமும் இல்லை. நாமாக ஒரு காரியத்தை இழுத்துப் போட்டுக் கொண்டால் அதற்காக எத்தனை கஷ்டத்தைப் பொருட்படுத்தாமல் சகித்துக் கொள்கிறோம்? ஏதோ ஒரு கண்டத்தில் உள்ள ஏதோ ஒரு யூனிவர்ஸிடியில் ஏதோ ஒரு படிப்பு பார்த்தால் பெரிய உத்தியோகம். பணம் கிடைக்கிறது என்கிறபோது உடனே ‘ஸிலபஸ்’ வரவழைத்து விடுகிறோம் – அங்கே போய் பரிட்சை எழுத ஏற்பாடெல்லாம் செய்கிறோம். நமக்கென்றே ஏற்பட்ட தர்மத்தை கஷ்டம் இருக்கிறது என்று விட்டுவிடலாமா? கஷ்டம் இருந்தும் செய்தால்தான் ஜாஸ்தி பலன், ஜாஸ்தி பெருமை. – ஜகத்குரு ஸ்ரீ சந்திரசேகரேந்திர சரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகள்

Every job requires exertion. If we voluntarily undertake something we bear  all the difficulties that comes on the way. If we come to know that by studying a certain course in a certain university in certain continent, we can earn a great job and lots of money, then we immediately arrange to get the syllabus. We arrange to go there to write the exam. Can we discard our own Dharma because it is difficult?
