To preserve and maintain the unyielding cows as long as they are alive without sending them to slaughter houses is a predominant duty for each one of us – a duty equivalent to what we owe towards our own mother. Jaya Jaya Sankara Hara Hara Sankara,

Time flies and flies very fast….I cannot believe a year has passed away since we did one of the biggest cow rescue operations in the history of  Tamizh Nadu (probably even Bharatham) where we rescued 275 cows in one go from Avalurpettai (Melmalayanur) cattle market on Mar 03′ 21, see HERE. The local person who played his part in the rescue operation fondly remembered the historic moment and called me a couple of days back regarding the anniversary. He was pretty emotional and said that was one of the greatest moments of his life too and asked if there is any possibility of history repeating itself. Given the challenges we have with our ongoing cow rescue efforts/rehabilitation and a Gosala that has to sustain, I told him I don’t see that happening in the foreseeable future, but told him let’s save a few whatever we can possible. By Periyava’s grace we could save 17 cows/calves/rishabams from the Melmalayanur cattle market yesterday (same March 3) that were bound for Kerala slaughterhouse. Thank you all for your continued support in our cow rescue efforts and supporting our Goshala operations. Few pics below.
