I just heard from India that Sri Vedapuri mama attained siddhi few hours ago. What a great devotee from his tender age of 8 or so till his last breathe! As we all know mama took sanyasa about a year back or so.
Since he came to Mahaperiyava when he was barely 8 or 9 years old, Mahaperiyava was practically his mother throughout. Mama always refers Him as ummachi Thatha and also as His mother.
I took this photo during one of the jayanthi/aradhana event in Sri Matam several years back.
Our prayers to Mahaperiyava to give us fraction of mama’s bakthi! Our namaskaram to mama and the service to Mahaperiyava that none can imagine.
I recollect reading about how Vedapuri mama was given the honorific BrahmaSri by MahaPeriyava Himself and asked that all address him as such.
One of the last of the intimate-Sevaks of Mahaperiyava merged in the Self on the auspicious Ekadashi Day. As rightly said by you Brahmashre mama, as he was called by Pradosham mama was an epitome of simplicity and humility.
He was the neighbor of Pradosham Mama at Kancheepuram and I was blessed to see him on most of my monthly visits for Darshan of Mahaperiyava during 1986-1992 period.
Though surrounded by all the turbulences of family life, he remained un-attached to them. His only attachment was the Service to Mahaperiyava.
I have never seen him seek any favour from anyone not getting agitated with anyone.
A great lesson for all Grihasthas on how to run our life amidst all turbulences and still be devoted to Mahaperiava.
Om Shanthi Shanthi Shanthi.
He was first amongst the kaingaryabarar and become sanyasin and attained moksha on the ekadasi day, Narayana. he has shown himself a Bhishma
May his Atma attain moksha
namaskarams to this Mahaperiyavaa devotee and Mahaan.
Our namaskarams to the great mahan!
