As you may be aware, Amazon contributes a small % of all our shoppings to the charity of our choice. In 2021, I made a conscious effort to do this and surprisingly I was able to get a small/decent contribution from Amazon.
Here are the simple three steps:
- Goto https://smile.amazon.com
- Click on the left top (see the image above) and choose “Kanchi Guruparampara Foundation” and save it.
- Every time you want to order something, go to smile.amazon.com to do that. I agree that this is the hard part – many times, we go to regular amazon site. Even if you go there, you can add your items to the cart and then go to smile.amazon to checkout.
Very easy steps and taking conscious steps will result in good amount of donation from Amazon. Why don’t you all give it a try? Costs you nothing! Doing this will make us smile at the end of the year!!!

Very useful tip. I will start to do this, though I try to limit buying through Amazon in general.
Since beginning of Covid, it has exponentially increased at my household!
