சின்னஞ்சிறிய சூக்ஷ்மமான தர்மங்களை எல்லாம் மறந்து விட்டோம். நமக்கு உணவு தருபவனுக்கு நல்லபடி நிவேதனம் நடக்க வேண்டும். நமக்கு உடை தருபவனுக்கு நல்ல வஸ்திரம் இருக்க வேண்டும் என்பதையெல்லாம் கவனிக்கத் தவறுகிறோம். இப்போது ஒரு ஊரில் யார் ரொம்ப அழுக்குத் துணி கட்டிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார் என்று பார்த்தால் ஸ்வாமிதான் என்று தெரிகிறது. நம் ஊர் கோயிலில் ஸ்வாமியின் வஸ்திரம் சுத்தமாயிருக்கிறதா என்பதில் கவனம் செலுத்திவிட்டோமானால், நம் மனஸின் அழுக்கும் போய்விடும். ‘ஆலயம் தொழுவது சாலவும் நன்று’, ‘அரனை மறவேல்’, ‘திருமாலுக்கு அடிமை செய்’ என்றெல்லாம் புண்ணிய மொழிகள் வழங்கும் இந்த நாட்டில், ஒவ்வோர் ஊரிலும் உள்ள ஈசுவரன் கோயிலையும் பெருமாள் கோயிலையும் நல்ல நிலையில் வைத்திருந்து வழிபாடு நடக்கச் செய்ய வேண்டும். இது நம் முதல் கடமை. – ஜகத்குரு ஸ்ரீசந்திரசேகரேந்திர சரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகளின் அருள்மொழிகள்

We have forgotten many small but crucial righteous things.  We fail to ensure that the deity who gives us food and clothing, is also properly offered food, is draped with clean clothing.  If you look for the person who is wearing the dirtiest clothes in our locality, it would be the deity in our temples.  If only we care to ensure that the deity in our local temple is wearing clean clothes, our hearts will become dirt-free. In a country known to have coined several sayings, like “Aalayam thozhuvadhu saalavum nandru” (It is best to worship at temples), “Aranai Maravel” (Eswara be not forgotten), “Thirumalukku Adimai Sei” (Be subservient to Bhagawan), etc., it is our “Primary duty” to keep the temples of Shiva and Vishnu in our localities, in good conditions. – Jagadguru Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Swamigal

Jaya Jaya Sankara Hara Hara Sankara – After the intense monsoon season construction work has started again. As seen in the pictures below, the Gopuram work is nearing completion.
