When a person is in difficulties, we should not probe into his caste or religion or bother whether he is good or bad. Whoever he may be, however he may be, we should help him in whatever possible way and mitigate his suffering. Jaya Jaya Sankara Hara Sankara – Annadhanam is a supreme dharma as exalted in our Shastras. Our Periyava has emphasized about this in Deivathin Kural in a few places. Lockdown or no lockdown there are always several people who are struggling to put food on the table. With lockdowns things get only worse. We are blessed and privileged to help those very needy poor and old people who are in dire straits. Nithya Annadhanam is a key activity as part of Kainkaryam where we serve food to around 80 people everyday apart from supporting several old age/destitute homes and special school for physically and mentally challenged children. You can consider supporting them on auspicious days, festivals, birthdays, marriage anniversaries, ancestor thithis,
etc.
