ஹ்ருதயத்திலிருந்து ரத்தம் சரீரம் பூராவுக்கும் பாய்கிற மாதிரி இங்கே செய்யும் வைதிக அநுஷ்டானங்கள் லோகம் முழுதற்கும் க்ஷேமங்களைப் பாய்ச்சிவிடும். அதாவது வேதம் இருந்தால்தான் லோகமே நன்றாக இருக்கும்; லோக க்ஷேமமே இங்கே நம்முடைய தேசத்தில் செய்கிற வைதிகமான யஜ்ஞ கர்மானுஷ்டானாதிகளில்தான் இருக்கிறது. அதைப் பற்றிக் கொஞ்சங்கூட ஸந்தேஹப்பட வேண்டாம். அப்படி லோகத்தையே வாழ்விப்பது யஜ்ஞம்; வேள்வி என்பது. அதற்கு இரண்டு அவசியமானவை. ஒன்று யஜ்ஞம் பண்ணுகிற கர்த்தாவான ‘யஜமானன்’. இன்னொன்று யஜ்ஞத்தில் உபயோகமாகிற அதி முக்யமான த்ரவ்யங்களைத் தருகிற கோதான். – ஜகத்குரு ஸ்ரீ சந்திரசேகரேந்திர சரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகள்

Just as blood gets pumped from the heart to all over the body, the Vaidhiha Anushtanas (rituals) performed here will spread benefits all over the world. That is, only with the existence of the Vedas can the entire world function well; Universal well being depends on the Vaidhiha rituals like Yagnyas, being performed here. There is no need to doubt it at all. Yagnya is something that sustains the life of the whole universe. Two things are important for it. Jaya Jaya Sankara Hara Hara Sankara – Couple of weeks back I posted about three cows brutally hurt in a deliberate acid attack in Madurai (See HERE). By Periyava’s grace after a lot of toil we managed to get hold off the cows, had them transported and treated in Animal husbandry department and finally found them a permanent home in Madurai. Two cows were given to Meenakshi Gosala and another one is in Deepak’s farm, an animal activist who partnered with us in these rescue efforts. While the cows were undergoing treatment in Animal husbandry department the owner’s for the couple of cows showed up. We negotiated with them and bought the cows. The owner for the third cow could not be traced. It costed around Rs. 1 lakh for this entire rescue operation, rehabilitation including purchase cost, treatment, medicine, transport, labor, etc. As you see in the pics below, the cows wounds have started healing. No praise is high for all the kind volunteers who sent in their contributions towards this cause. Needless to say it has helped a great deal and every penny was more than worth in gold. Rama Rama
