Upaakarma (Aavani Avittam) an annual function is not just about changing poonal (Yagyopaveeta dharanam).
This function has deeper ritual and insight into it, absolving ones sins, making a new beginning, including Veda Adhyayanam etc.
To know more about this, join us in celebrating this four day event, yes Periyava radio is giving this event a head start on Saturday (1st August) and Sunday (2nd August) from 3 pm onwards.
The Upaakarma celebrations will start at 6:30 am on 3rd August 2020, Monday and Gayathri Japam celebration also at 6:30 am on 4th August 2020, Tuesday.
Also tune in for Aadi perukku (celebrating rivers) on Sunday (2nd August) Morning 6:30 am.

HOW TO LISTEN TO PERIYAVA RADIO
you need to download an app called “Periyava Radio” on your mobile app. I dont know if you use apple or android phone. Regardless, go to play store or App Store and search for “Periyava Radio” and install that app. Launch the app once you installed it, it will take you in to the app.
