Very beautiful drawing and brings out lot of details – replica of the Sannidhi in the temple – I think she must have captured Ambal’s image in her mind over a period of time to sit at home and get it out through this drawing! I always wonder how these drawings are possible without absolute bakthi to that devata and anugraham from that devata!

மைலாப்பூர் கற்பகாம்பாள் வரைய வேண்டும் என்பது என் நீண்ட நாள் ஆசை. என் தோழி ஒருத்திக்கு எல்லாமே கற்பகாம்பாள் தான் . June 12அவளது பிறந்த நாளுக்கே பரிசாகத் தர வேண்டும் என்று நினைத்திருந்தேன். அவள் வீட்டில் ஸ்ரீ பெரியவாளின் பாதுகைகள் இருப்பதால் அன்று அவளுக்கு ஸ்ரீ மஹா பெரியவாள் படத்தை frame செய்து கொடுத்தேன். இந்த படம் வரைய கிட்டதட்ட 40மணி நேரம் எடுத்துக் கொண்டேன்.
