Today is the most auspicious day – Sri Rama Navami. Sri Ramar took this avatar to demonstrate the righteous way of living and set example of a grahasta. There are volumes of books, articles, research has gone into Sri Ramar’s life that is a lesson for all of us. Sri Veezhinathan mama always always always draws analogy between Sri Rama and Mahaperiyava. Like Sri Rama took avatar as a grahasta Sri Mahaperiyava took this avatar to show us all on how to live like a true sanyasi and also to live by what veda has prescribed. Every time I think about Sri Rama Pattabisheka I think of this photo of Mahaperiyava. Here are my favorite photo comparisons.
On this day, let us pray Sri Rama and Sri Periyava to bless us all and more importantly come out of this unprecedented tragedy that is going on around this world quickly without anymore mortality.

Well said Mahesh. In the talk associated with releasing the book Mahaperiyava is giving a book to the pundit who proof read. He says – I did the work to the best of my knowledge. Mahaperiyava says – ‘only because you are doing Valmiki Ramayana Parayanam regularly you could do this. You are blessed. ‘ How gracious.
Wonderful upload.
Sri Rama Pattabhishekam and Maha Periyava Pattabhishekam – one and the same.
In Sathya Yuga, He is Sita Rama, in Kali Yuga He is Eka Rama.
In Sathya Yuga, the Divine Mother of Grace accompanies Him in form.
In this Kaliyuga, Rama embodies Himself in the form of the Fire of Penance and
His infinite Grace is the Divine Mother Sita, both manifest simultaneously, in the Lord in the form of the Auspicious Maha Periyava.
Thank you for this article and including Mahaperiyava’s talk. Happy Sri Rama Navami.
