  1. A great Soul besides being a great Singer.Reached God’s Abode.

  2. Balu a great singer, now he has proved that he has a noble humanity too.

He has proved that he has a noble heart ♥ too, Great.

  3. Excellent gesture by SPB. His paternal home is to be filled with vedic vibrations.

  4. Our Dharma may say we need to keep donations private, but I believe our actions have the power to influence, and therefore publicizing them is not a bad thing. I donate in a very small way. But what got me started was my neighbor in Bangalore who was very vocal about his charity work. He continues to inspire me. Likewise, I tell the parents of the students I tutor that the money is being given away. I do this because I hope my students and their families get inspired in their turn to give. By doing this, if my “punniyam” gets reduced, so be it.

  5. Jaya Jaya Sankara, Hara Hara Sankara. All said and done, celebrity Shri SPB could have done anything with his ancestral house but his thought to donate to the Holy Kanchi Sri Matham for Veda Patashala is indeed noble. May he and his family be blessed. Certainly Maha Periyava, Pudu Periyava and Kanchi Peetathipathi would be pleased to bless this gentle man.

  6. Although celebrities’ small contribution also made bigger (SPB contributes liberally to religious matter) in Media, it is still welcome, because these things will attract public attention and inspire people to contribute to such purposes.

May Maha Periva bless him and his family endless Anugraha!

Jaya Jaya Shankara…. Hara Hara Shankara….
