Few months back Sri Kamakshi Amman gave direction to a devotee to start an initiative to do 100 crore Lalitha sahasra nama parayanam (10 Lakhs x 1000 namas). Obviously, the devotee got very worried on how this is going to be possible and ambal further provided assurance that it will happen smoothly. Subsequent to that, he approached Sri Suresh Sthanikar of Sri Kamakshi Amman Kovil to guide this and officially start this initiative. He did special archana and Sankalpam for this initiative few days back.
Sri Subbu (who is also coordinating Chandana Seva for Kamakshi Amman) is leading this effort and has created a web page to make it easier to log our progress. The site also has some basic set of guidelines for doing this.

We all do LS parayanam as part of our routine – doing the same for Loka kshema does not cost us anything. I sincerely request you all to visit this site to go over the contents, sign up for this yegnam. He also has a Telegram group for this effort. Pl share this initiative with your friends and families too.

Sir , we are doing 1008 times Lalitha Parayanam unable to join in Telegram group
Sir, I, T.S.Mohanchandralal, have successfully completed on 21 Feb, the 108 days Sri. Lalitha sahasranama parayam with Purva bhaga and phalashruti towards the 100 crore LS parayanam yagna.I started my parayanam on Nov 5th, and one I did parayanam 2 times.This is for your kind info.

People asking whether upadesam is required for chanting Sri Lalitha Sahasranamam and Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam.
My idea is please contact your family sastrigal who will help you in this. As in Sri Balaji poojas they chant Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam, so also there are ladies group chanting Sri Lalitha Sahasranamam and he will be able to introduce to them.
Join them and it automatically get initiated to learn it.

I do every day Lalita Sahara naamam and Vishnu sahasra naamam parayanam, with sankalpam for loka Kalyanam and for family every day in the last 25 years. I however only recite when traveling.
In promoting Sanadhana Dharma we try to eliminate western culture and practice our Sanadharma Culture. The group chanting Sri Lalith Sahasranamam and Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam be a source for it. Whenever, an occasion like Janma Nakshatram of family members and also during wedding day, we can sought no of members as per the possibility like 5, 10 etc. and from the group the required number of peoples go to the bakthas house and chant and the family members too join. The vibration is so powerful and bliss will pervade in the turning negative to positive. This will spread when the guests present over there will get interested for such an event in their house also.

There is no need for any upadesam. Try try to join people chanting it with your book. Now a days it is available in all the south indian languages and also in English. By joining such recitation you will automatically get to know the words and the split of words and timing and length of swara.

I know how to chant correctly in Sanskrit.My Chithappa told that one has to get Upadesham and then only chant. But friends told that upadesham is not necessary. Will try to chant.
Upadesham is a necessity. God only knows who initiates such activities!
