Athi Varadhar Nindra Kolam

Thanks to Sudhan for the photo share. Starting yesterday, Athi Varadhar will be in standing posture – last few days before He goes back into the water and will come out only after next 40 years. I do not know how bad the crowd is – those who have not gotten the darshan, should hurry up and not to miss the opportunity.

  1. THE WORST MANAGEMENT. THEY SHLD HAVE PLANNED THIS A MONTH AGO BEFORE THE GOD COMING OUT OF WATER. THE POLICE THERE DON’T KNOW WHAT THERE ROLE IS!! THEY JUST STAND AND SHOUT AT PPL. AFTER STANDING IN THE QUEUE FOR MORE THAN 4 HRS (7PM TO 11:30PM – MOST OF THEM IN OUR GROUP ARE SENIOR CITIZENS) THEY ANNOUNCE THAT THE DARSHANAM IS CLOSED FOR THE DAY. WE HAD TO GO NEXT DAY EARLY MORNING.
HOWEVER, WE CANT EVEN TALK ABOUT THE CLEANLINESS IN TAMIL NADU. THEY DON’T EVEN BOTHER TO KEEP IT CLEAN.
THE MOST DELIGHTFUL IS TO SEE GOD MADE OUT OF ATTHI TREE. OTHERWISE, REST EVERYTHING IS A WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

  2. YES! they have made proper arrangements, so no problem now.
    Periyava charanam.

  3. My neighbour along with her aged mother (who cannot walk even one km stretch) visited four days ago, and she narrated to me her harrowing experience. There was no discipline even in the senior citizens queue and the police were simply watching without controlling the crowd. She could manage somehow, only because of help from an honest auto driver and a R.S.S sevaka.

  4. Mahesh Garu, it is worst situation there at Kanchipuram and no proper arrangements although they claim it everything normal. I was the person who experienced the stampede and literally fell down, people walk on me, after standing 3 hours in queue.
