The ancient house at Ālagramam, over a hundred years olden in pristine condition thanks to the family still living in it, belonged to Shree Venkataramana Iyer and his wife, Alamelu Ammal. Venkataramana Iyer and Pujyashree Mahā Periavas went to school together at THindivanam and often played in this house after hours. Jagadguru Pujyashree Shankara Vijayendra Sarasvati Shankaracharya Svami visited the house and graced all with His blessings after the kumbhabhishekam at Ālagramam.
