From time immemorial, ‘Gho’ has been viewed in our country as one’s own mother and has been showered love and Bhakthi. We identify our own mothers in the serene and affectionate appearance of the cow. The biological mother who has given birth to us and fed us is called Janaka Matha. Similarly, there are a few other personified mothers among which the ‘Gho Matha’ is one.
