சொந்தச் சொத்து, சொந்தச் செலவு ஆகியவற்றில் கணக்காய் இருப்பதற்காக (இதவ்வளவும்) சொன்னேன். காந்தியும் இந்த அபரிக்ரஹத்தை ரொம்பவும் சொல்லி, அநுஷ்டானம் பண்ணியும் வந்தார். அப்புறம் இப்போது (1958ல்) விநோபாவும் சொல்லிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார். தலைவர்கள் எனப்பட்டவர்கள் இந்த இரண்டு பேருக்கும் நமஸ்காரம் பண்ணிக் கொண்டே ‘ஆப்போஸிட் டைரக்ஷனில்’ தேசத்தை வேகமாக இழுத்து விட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள். மேல் நாடுகளுக்கு நாம் பிற்பட்டு நிற்கவில்லை என்று ‘ப்ராக்ரஸ்’ காட்ட வேண்டாமா? ராஜாங்கங்கள், அவற்றின் ஐடியாலஜிகள் எதுவும் சாச்வதமில்லை. ஸநாதன தர்மந்தான் சாச்வதம். சாச்வத ஸெளக்யத்துக்கு வழி காட்டுவதும் அதுதான். அதனால் அதைப் பார்த்து ஜனங்கள் வாழ்க்கையின் அம்சங்கள் எல்லாவற்றிலும் ஒரு அளவுக்கு, கணக்குக்குக் கட்டுப்பட்டு நடந்து கொண்டு இங்கே இந்த உலகத்திலேயே நிம்மதியும், அதோடு பாரமார்த்திகமான ச்ரேயஸும் அடைய வேண்டும். இதைப்பற்றி இன்னமும் பேசிக் கொண்டே போனால் நானே, சொல்கிறமாதிரி அளவறிந்து நிறுத்திக் கொள்கிறேனோ என்று ஸந்தேஹம் வந்துவிடும்! – ஜகத்குரு ஸ்ரீ சந்திரசேகரேந்திர ஸரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகள்

I told you all these things, so that you remain vigilant and have control over your properties and also your spending. Mahatma Gandhi also spoke a lot about this ‘Aparigraha’ and he also practiced it in his life. And now a days (in 1958) Vinobha Bhave is also preaching and practicing this. But those who claim to be the followers of these two leaders (who propagated and followed Aparigraha), are dragging this nation rapidly, in totally opposite direction.  Should we not proclaim to the Western Countries that our Nation, is not lagging behind, but is also progressing?  Nations, Governments and their ideologies, nothing is permanent. Only the ‘Sanathana Dharma’ (our ancient Religion) is eternal. It is this Sanathana Dharma which shows the way for Eternal Happiness. That is why all people should observe the (teachings of) Sanathana Dharma, and bring in some control in every aspect of their life. That way, everyone can live peacefully in this life and also gain the ultimate good.
