Just now there is a news item in Dinamalar newspaper that the Tirunelveli District Collector and Hindu Religious Board has refused permission to use the ghats and manapams in and around Thamirabarani river due to the reason that they can not provide facilities for the pilgrims. Unless Hindus retaliate politically, they will do all sorts of nonsense to deny Hindus their religious rights.
