அவனவனும் தன்னை pure -ஆக வைத்துக் கொள்ளப் பாடுபட்டுக் கொண்டிருந்தாலே எல்லாருக்கும் க்ஷேமம். இதிலே ஒரு அங்கம்தான் பிறத்தியாரால் அந்த purity -க்கு கெடுதல் வந்துவிடப் போகிறதே என்று ஜாக்கிரதையாக, அவர்களுடைய ‘ரேடியேஷன்’ ஆஹாரத்தில் ஏற்படாமல், தன் சாப்பாட்டைத் தானே பண்ணிக் கொள்வது. சாப்பாட்டு விஷயத்திலே ஜாதி முதலான அம்சங்களுக்கு இடமேயில்லை. இந்த ஸமத்வத்துக்காக யார் சமைத்தாலும் எல்லாரும் சாப்பிட்டாக வேண்டுமென்று பண்ணி ஜனங்களின் personal purity -ஐ பாதிக்க வேண்டாம். “ஜாதி கூடாது” என்று ஆரம்பத்திலிருந்து இப்படி ஸம்பந்தமில்லாத விஷயங்களிலெல்லாங்கூட ஜாதியைக் கொண்டு வந்து அதில் அபேத வாதத்தை நிலை நாட்டுவதே எல்லாவற்றையும்விட முக்யம் என்பதாக விஷயம் தெரிந்து கொள்ளாமல் செய்து வருகிறார்கள். – ஜகத்குரு ஸ்ரீ சந்திரசேகரேந்திர சரஸ்வதி ஸ்வாமிகள்

If each one makes efforts to keep himself pure and clean, it results in the welfare of all. Swayampakam (Self Cooking) is only one aspect of this concept. When one consumes food prepared by someone else, the radiation emanating from that person gets ingrained into the food and the person who partakes that food is affected by that radiation. This can be avoided by self cooking. There is no question of caste as far as food is concerned. But ‘samatvam’ (equality) does not mean that food cooked by anyone can be consumed by anyone else – affecting the personal purity of the individuals.
